"You will enjoy our show or I will personally clean your house !!"

And there are no takers !!!

This show was decidedly different than many in the past. Would call it more circusy, more organic since it was held at the Dance Center rather than nightclubs as we have been doing for the past 6-7 shows.
The advantages to the Center include the ability to do our aerial work and "The Ceiling Act." The Director for this show was Cheryl Lindley with assistant hubby  Rogelio Lopez.  We had our first program made courtesy of Jenny Brown's hard work and networking.

The 2 shows included all ages performance at 730 pm which did have about 10-15 children in attendance. But it appears to me that our main body of our audience is adult and this is the road that I think Technomania Circus should follow.
We are basically an adult themed circus but we can do the kids thing too and we proved that  here.
My parents Earl and Kathi Cartier were asked again to run the front door and I am happy that I could include them. It's good time for them to get out them old colorful clothes.

We brought the audience into "The Box" aka "The Ceiling" and then proceeded to paint the artificial paper ceiling different colors and backlighting them with technolights for visual effects. The musicians wandered and played cacophonously with notes and beats not organized or arranged in the least. After changing "The Ceiling " to blacklight and getting the requisite oohs & ahhs then the trapeze artist Cheryl  broke down through the paper painted ceiling into the surprised audience.  She picked a particular mark and proceeded to pull her back up while screaming. Then the walls came down and the Broom Dance starts. Choreographed by Kerri Kersinski, along with the other dance numbers, the carnies cleaned up the mess created from The Ceiling act.
Next up,  Manboy, aka Bruce Cartier, with his bullhorn schtick was followed by some entertaining clowning from Gail, a clown teacher from Cheryl's past.  Extensive lighting setup and stage presentation by Jonathan Chattin and AJ who were invaluable in just coming in and asking "what needs to be done and how can I help?"  Love those guys !!
The stage setup, which consist of 3 10 foot long "structures" which are officially called OBTANIUM and was obtained by our Disappearing Technoman Neil Kearns. Add the technolights that were mostly supplied by Dr Hi Hor aka Mike Horton and we are on the way to technolightheaven. Though Mike was a bit slow getting the outside neon up he has an incredible new ladder setup which wil make the next shows we do neon-eye-popping.
Also mixed in for this performances were new percussionists Nigel and his buddies David and Teo.
They were especially important to compliment the Martial Arts fight routine with Rogelio Lopez and Deron Dzat. Didn't see any blood spilled cuz they are using real weapons by the way.
Somewhere along the line also Mr Neon Penis was picked up and showed his wares during the now standard infamous Manboy led Volunteer Synchronized Lightstick Routine (they keep the lightsticks)!!!
Ben the balancing bicycle boyfriend made his unannounced appearance and g-friend Jenny Melnick also did a nice blacklight trapeze act that is getting better every time.
The incredible dancers Cela Nash, Jenny Brown, Renee, and Kerri were changed into electrifying electric people with help from circusfans such as www.enlighted.com who graciously allows us use of the NERVE costume.  The Blue Horned Plasma Man made his short appearance before heading off and allowing the buffoons to take the stage. Knowing only the words "yellow, yes, no, she's on the roof, & perhaps" they seemed to have a different view on life..one that you can understand only if you've seen em.....as I won't try to explain em except to say they are the mutant throwaways of the world.
Our show stopper, the Disappearing Technoman, was mixed in before adding the adult only MrStickNeckNoseFaceMagicMouth show but he  may have a run for his money as there was an equal amount of applause for the edgy knife throwing gymnastics of Annetta Lucero. She's a BIG WOW too !!
Along with our fire goddess Kim Hagen & fire staff Iain Gunn we included various small "poofs" of magic  to accent parts of the show.  Thanks to Charles (Evergreen) for the Fireman Duties and Fire Safety !!
(Though I miss the Rope Act).  We also included a new chifon aerial act,  the F*** song done buffoon stylee, a gigantic monster outfit,  the black light stiltwalker and butterfly routine, a Dali elephant stilt walker, a dragon, and other acts I just can't remember at present.  If ya do , email me and add some more info & BS to this intial review.

It was a satisfying performance all-round and all contributors went home with a few bucks in the pocket.

WISH LIST :
Though certainly we are a group of cutting edge creative artists we could use some sort of financial assistance, as none of us have ANY source of financial revenue.
That  and if you could find us a large high ceiling fire friendly venue too  !!!
