| ~ Dingwalls ~ Sun. Sept 21- UK London 1:30 am (after Rotown) ... After a great show, we are now paking up to leave for our hotel in Rotterdam, sleep for a few hours, and leave for London! Some of us will be staying in the city for an extra day for sightseeing. We got word the show at Dingwalls may sell out and are looking forward to visiting the UK. 3:00- We are now a the hotel, located on a dark stret next to an abandon church on a barren dry plein. We have less than 3 hours to sleep because the ferry to London leaves at 7:20 (meaning we leave the hotel at 6:30 am) We have arrived at the club located on a busy city street so packed it was extremely difficult to get the van to the back of the club and load out all of the equiptment. We checked into our hotel, which is conveniently located just 5 minutes outside Camden lock. Most of us have wandered off to check out the city. Showtime- The band steps onto the stage to cheers and applause from the crowd. A friend of Keiths (the talented artist Corin, please check out his link on the site) has put flowers on the stage. I notice a girl by the front who tries to take one of the flowers. They play an amazing set and Keith recognizes faces in the crowd from past shows. As Keith performs his more personal songs, the audience is silent with understanding and respect. Thank you London. On the road again |
