unpredictable,
the wind, that is who he is,
calm now, wild later.

he gives breath to men.
nourishes, preserves, safeguards,
blows hardships away.

sad lives, he freshens.
teary eyes, he gently dries,
ahh...soothes ailing hearts.

turbulent at times,
wrecks swiftly sailing vessels,
rudely rifts men's lives.

waves rise when he roars.
spurs fear among the weak;
warns, tough men retreat.

the wind, he flies high,
clearing the sky, sun peeps;
warm days the wind cools.

gathers the dark clouds.
rolling thunder he echoes.
sun hides, rain downpours.
