A Year in Central New York

Hello. My name is Ted Bogart. I lived in Raleigh, North Carolina until the summer of 2001. Thanks to the recession that year, I suddenly had to find new job and found one at Lockheed Martin in Syracuse, New York. After about a year and a half I found another job back in Raleigh at Allied Telesis Labs, Inc.

Most people can easily choose their preference between Syracuse and Raleigh. While Syracuse slowly shrinks, Raleigh grows without bounds. Well for us the decision isn't so easy. Each city offers so many benefits that the other doesn't. This webpage is mainly a photo album of living in the Syracuse area for one year. These are some of the many things we continue to miss about Central New York.

Here are two of my kids with my '71 VW Bus on a back road somewhere in rural New York
