Jesus Christ fed people, healed people, and taught people. He never threatened or condemned anyone. The only people he ever criticized were the self -righteous. He rejected no one. The most astounding thing about the teachings of Christ is, we can apply his teachings to terms of today and not change the meaning of a word he said. His teachings are as profound as they are simple. His teaching should work for you who ever you are, as well as for me, and on every level. Then we know the interpretation is correct. Jesus taught people in terms they could relate to 2000 years ago. It would have been impossible for people 2000 years ago to relate to terms of today. He told stories and used analogies, so people could understand what he was saying. Not with any vicious intent to target, any individual or group for hate or abuse. God wanted all of his people to live happily together as one with the rest of His universe and enjoy life. Just don't hurt anyone by what you do. Jesus taught people to love one another. That's all he asked, respect God, and respect creation. Treat your fellow man with compassion. Stop judging one another. Look within yourself. Finger pointing and judging others is the exact opposite of what Christ was about, no matter who does it or teaches it. Hatred and/or abuse is not justified, because it is done in the name of the Lord. To disrespect any of creation is to disrespect the creator. The Spirit of God is love, which is the opposite of hate. God does not cause evil, nor does he delight in evil on any level, for any reason. God has no evil in Him therefore He is incapable of doing evil. It is man that is at the bottom of every evil on earth. Every disease, every pain, every hardship, every evil, in every way, shape and form, can be traced back to man and something man did. Man justified it and rationalized it somehow. The ego is tricky liar. The Bible was meant to instill peace and love. The Bible was never meant to be a weapon or a manipulation tool. " Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you. " If everybody did this we would have world peace, but people like to do what they don't like done to them. For every action there is a reaction. So: the world is not working. The world was designed to work together as one, that is how it will work or not at all. The choice is ours. What Are You About Lord?
