What can Bob get away with this quarter?

Consider this "Teed Off" as a mid-season review and preview of this coming quarter, sort of.

After spending most of my Spring Break doing absolutely nothing, it gave me time to think about what new and exciting things I could do for my section.

Amazingly enough, I found out that I didn't have a whole lot to work with.

First of all, I determined that it would be best if I switched "Teed Off" to Mondays, mostly because I thought it would be a good idea. I'm not so sure I'm right, but then again, when have I been?

I also was trying to figure out how I could possibly top what I did last quarter? I mean, true, my men's basketball coverage wasn't the best, but when you think about it, I was competing with the Plain Dealer for hoops stories. And worse yet, they got the stories before me, simply because they're a daily, and I just can't hang.

So, what did this resourceful young lad do? Shift hsi focus from the heavy coverage of men's basketball, and put it on the sports that really don't get a whole lot of play in the PD.

And, if I had the chance to do it all again, I wouldn't change a thing. Except maybe get a little more pub for, dare I say it, fencing.

My big dilemma for this quarter if "Teed Off." Here, I have this column where I've just about said anything and everything, and I've got a whole quarter left to think of crazy stuff to say.

But you have to admit, the last two quarters for "Teed Off" have been interesting ones.

Now, I'm sure you, the devoted "Teed Off" fans that you are, can relate to what I'm saying. Let's review some of the more off-the-wall things I've done this year, and you be the judge of how much more over-the-top I could possibly be.
