The Dark Era - January 8, 1996-September 19, 1996

What I thought was going to be the beginning of my reign as Sports Editor of the Cauldron turned out to be a turn for the worst.
A higher power, namely the Editor-in-Chief and the Managing Editor, decided it would be best that another candiate, Greald Irons Bentley, a man who had never written a word in the Cauldron, should be the next Sports Editor.
I got the shaft. That much was obvious. But I got through it. Who knows how...
During this time, I did as little as possible for Gerald, and nearly let myself go straight to hell, writing-wise.
After I saw what Gerald did to the sports section, I made a vow if I ever made it to that point, to do nothing he did.
These editions of Teed Off are mostly uninspired, but like I said, I made it through.. And on to bigger things.
