My name is Nicole and I've been teaching in Samchonpo at the Jung Chul Junior Academy. I've been here 8 months and I've loved the experience. The director is a very nice lady who is interested in the welfare of the students and the needs of the teachers at the same time. The pay has always been on time and the director is available to fix any problem. Since there are no English newspapers, she has subscribed to Time magazine for me, which I think is a very accommodating thing to do. The teacher who was here before me wrote on the blacklist about problems that she was having and it is just a question of immaturity and impatience on her part. I have never been harassed to become a Christian or change my style or look ... I live on the 14th floor of a beautiful apartment with a view of the sea and surrounding mountains. Anyone who would like to work here must be mature and be his or her own person because you are a bit isolated from social activities unless you are interested in traditional Korean activities.
