| Here is more artwork, just as the title says. |
| Apsiu Kana, three-quarters view, by Tehuti. The Apsiu Kana are warriors formed in Set's image who fight for him in my novel, Horus. They rule over the Apsiu Moru, who are flightless slaves. They wear distinctively colored ear lappets to denote their rank and occupation; as this drawing is not colored in, I cannot tell you his rank.
I'm moderately pleased with how my Apsiu drawings turned out. Their heads are difficult to draw at first, considering the skull is nearly egg shaped, narrow at the front and wide at the back. My only problem is I can't differentiate features, so all of my Apsiu look the same. :( |
| Apsiu Kana, profile view, by Tehuti. This is most likely the same gentleman as above.
I prefer this drawing to the other one, as the animalistic features are accentuated in profile. Apologies for the low quality, but most of my drawings are sketches, and these were saved at a smaller size than they should have been. |
| Apsiu Kana, full body view, by Tehuti. He fights with a sword and a dagger. The Apsiu look exactly like Set, except Set does not have wings, and possesses a human body. He is the only other being the Kana have ever looked up to in general, who cannot fly unassisted. To the Kana, those who cannot fly are Moru, pathetic slaves.
Aside from my lousiness with body postures, this one turned out okay. The only thing is he's dressed rather plainly, for a Kana. |
| King Horus, by Tehuti. Need I even explain who he is? There's an entire novel dedicated to him on this site, after all. :)
I do NOT like how his beak turned out; it's too long. I had a lot of trouble with his eyes until I gave him the eyebrow ridge. Hawks are not very easy to give facial expressions to, and so he looks peeved. If I drew Ra or Montu or Sokar, they would probably look exactly the same. (grumble) Note that he wears the same headdress as Set on the previous page. I would have given him earrings, but...where the heck are a hawk's ears?? |
| Prince Anubis, head view, by Tehuti. You can read more about him on the previous page.
Unlike most of my drawings, I am VERY happy with how this one turned out. Granted, his nose may slope a bit too much, but I love the rest of him. What a cutie! **drool** |
