Morgan Point Lighthouse
This was our most exciting quest so far. The entire Morgan Point area is off limits to the public as it is a residential enclave. I left my cohort in crime outside the gates and took a walk in to see if I could get permission for just a shot or two to have for here. We ended up meeting the owners of the Morgan Point Lighthouse, Jason and Rena Pilalas. They had just arrived here from California the day before and was readying their home for the summer. I had never expected the opportunity they gave us and thank them most wholeheartedly. They opened their home and the light to us, along with a tour from Mr.Pilalas himself. I have NEVER seen such a impressive collection of maritime artifacts in any place, publc or private. I was in such awe of his memorabilia. We took some great pictures of his collection of plates, ships bells, and  the original memorial plaque for the musicians aboard the Titantic. I wanted to thank him for saving, rebuilding, and realizing the importance of the light and the fine pieces he has amassed. It is so rare that I meet someone with the same pride of the ocean and its livelihood as I. Again, I thank you for your gracious hospitality, Mr and Mrs. Pilalas.
