~*~Magic Asya's Beatles Tribute~*~

What do you think of when you read the words "The Beatles?" The music? The legend? The hysteria? No matter what you think of, you must agree that the Beatles have forever made an impact on the world. I am one person who has been touched by their music, and have been running this page since late 1996 because of it. Welcome to Magic Asya's Beatles Tribute.
I have loved the Beatles for over half of my life, which, compared to many other people, isn't much at all, but please remember I am only 18 years old. Born and raised in the U.S.S.R., my parents were both avid Beatles fans when they were my age, and they have carried that love onto me. My earliest memories of the band go back to around 7 or 8 years old. My dad used to have a huge Beatles poster in his home office and I would often stare at it, not understanding exactly who was depicted on the poster. I don't remember the earliest time that I began to listen to them, but it must've been very early on, for well before I became a teenager, I loved the Beatles and "Let it Be" was one of my favorite songs of all time. A more recent memory consists of family road trips to Wisconsin (particularly the House on the Rock) when we would spend 5 hours each way singing along to old tapes of "Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," "Magical Mystery Tour," and other albums. It is these seemingly-meaningless experiences that have helped me fall in love with the greatest band ever...

15 Facts Every Beatlemaniac Needs to Know

Hey gang, I got some news. Watch for a Linda McCartney tribute CD to be out soon, featuring Beatles covers by: the Corrs, Lenny Kravitz, Queen, Madonna, Art Garfunkel, Britney Spears, and more. All proceeds from the double-disc will go to the charity, Women and Cancer.

This is Ringo Star with my favorite band, Hanson, on the set of the "La De Da" video shoot. Click

*sigh* Boy, oh boy. So many people to thank, so little time. First of all, I would like to thank the Beatles themselves: John Lennon, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Paul McCartney. Also I want to thank anyone who was involved with the Beatles, such as George Martin and Brian Epstein. Secondly, I would like to thank my parents for bringing the Beatles' music into my life. I also want to thank GeoCities for giving me the space to express my love for this band, BraveNet for their free counter, form and guestbook, Alex Searson for guiding me through the long and painful process called "FRAMES," Kate for my one and only Beatles award, Windy's Design Studio for this gorgeous flower background, and also Julianne's Background Textures for my poll and lyrics backgrounds. Additionally, I want to thank my friends for not thinking I was weird for worshipping a band broke up over 10 years before I was even born, anyone who has ever been on my update list and sifted through dozens of e-mails telling them about all of my updates, and anyone who has voted for their 5 favorite Beatles songs. And last, but not least, I would like to take this time to thank You for visiting this page.
