It's February Sweeps Time!(Feb 1/00)
On Feb. 3, Reese Witherspoon (Election) begins a guest-starring stint as Rachel's (Jennifer Aniston) little sister, Jill. Rachel isn't too thrilled when she catches Jill and Ross flirting. On Feb. 10, Rachel forces Ross to cancel a date with Jill. In a flashback episode on Feb. 17, everyone sees how life might have been if they'd all taken different paths. Days of Our Lives star Kristian Alfonso guests.
Many Frienatics have asked me about whether David Schwimmer and Lisa Kudrow are leaving the show at the end of this season. I've looked everywhere but I have been unable to come up any info from a credile source. Does anyone know more about this? All I know is that Friends cast memers have not signed on for a seventh season yet, so there is a possibility that this will be the last season of Friends. Although this is a possibility, I don't think this happen. But time is running out for them to sign!
All About TV Friends wins a 'the net' magazine award (Jan 27/00)
In the January issue of 'the net' magazine, UK's largest Internet magazine, All About TV Friends (this site) has won the award for best US sitcom site of the month! Can someone tell me if there was a review of the site and if there was, what did it say? I'm from Canada, so I don't get this magazine. Any info on this matter is greatly appreciated! Rumours about the sixth season finale (Jan 24/00)
The gang are planning to pull out all the stops for the series six season finale. The rumour has it that a fire will break out in the building where the friends live, two of the friends get trapped and the season break will leave everyone wondering if the friends will survive. The lady who plays Phoebe's mom (Teri Garr) will appear as well as Ross' family.

Friends Cast will Unite for Raises (Oct 5/99)
NBC's Emmy nominated Friends cast, whose contracts expire at the end of this season, intend to enter talks, planned to start late next month or in early December, as a group. According to The New York Post, the actors will ask for at least $250,000 per episode, or $5.5 million per Friend, per season. Currently, each Friend gets about $100,000 an episode, or $2.2 million for 22 episodes.
Warner Bros. has reportedly inked a deal with NBC worth $220 million over two years for the right to air "Friends" through mid-2002.
Courteney Changes Name (Sept 24/99)
The ``Friends'' star, who wed actor David Arquette on June 12, has officially changed her name to Courteney Cox Arquette.
``It's for real. It's on my Social Security card, everything. No hyphen,'' she told the ``Entertainment Tonight'' television program.
``It feels like, wow, I'm changing my identity. It was scary. It feels good, like I'm really committed. It feels better than not doing it and it made him happy.''
Cox Arquette said she eventually plans to drop the Cox from her name.``The reason why is because it was really important for David, for me, too,'' she said.
The season premiere was dedicated to Courteney and David. Also, did everyone see the credits? Everyone's last name had Arquette, not just Courteney. I guess, this means, David Arquette married everyone on the show. I guess the Friends people are really close, maybe a little too close! Just kidding :o)
