The Hex Files Movie (Word for Windows version)

The Hex Files Movie (Works for Windows 4.0 version)

SYNOPSIS

An outbreak of a deadly virus occurs in the town of Driftwood, Texas. A young boy and four firemen are infected before a team led by Dr. Bell Winegum can cover up the incident. A week later, Agents Foxy Sculder and Danish Mully are looking for a bomb in the Dallas Federal Building as part of their new assignment following the termination of the Hex Files. Sculder, however, plays a hunch and begins searching another building where he subsequently finds the bomb. Sculder and Mully barely evacuate the building and escape before the bomb explodes, despite the efforts of FBI specialist Agent Michaud Watts.
The subsequent investigation by the Office of Professional Review and Unprofessional Reviewers reveals that there were in fact others in the building. A young boy and three firemen. The lead agent of the OPRUR, Assistant Director Megan Bitch, attempts to pin the responsibility for these deaths upon Sculder and Mully and split the agents up. Their boss and mentor, Assistant Director Vaulter Spinner, believes a cover up is going on but that can't stop Mully's decision to quit the FBI for good following the OPRUR's accusations. Dejectedly, Sculder considers his own future until he is accosted in an alley way by Dr. Alvin Chipmunk, a man claiming to have worked with Sculder's father on a classified Project 50 years ago. He claims the Dallas bombing was a cover up for four dead bodies who died in a viral outbreak a week earlier. Sculder is sceptical, but the possibility of a conspiracy in the FBI drives him to contact Mully and investigate.
Meanwhile, back in Driftwood, a Pipe Smoking Man arrives at the scene of the outbreak where Dr, Winegum has astonishing news. One of the firemen infected with the virus is showing signs of infestation by an alien organism: he is being used as a host for a new breed of alien being. The Pipe Smoking Man is shocked, the organisation who he works for (the Posh Club) have never seen anything like this before. He tells Winegum to try injecting the fireman with a vaccine the Posh Club have been experimenting with, to find its effects. However, upon going back to do this, Winegum finds that the alien creature has gestated and left the host body. Before he can escape, he is killed and his colleagues hastily cover up the evidence.
Sculder and Mully bluff their way into a morgue and find the dead bodies from the explosion. Mully is shocked to find signs of a virus she has never seen before: those bodies were obviously not killed in any explosion. Whilst she performs an autopsy, Sculder goes back to find Chipmunk who he learns is being hunted by the authorities. Chipmunk contacts Sculder and tells him that the Posh Club are trying to discredit him because he knows too much. He tells Sculder that the virus he has seen infecting the bodies is in fact the same one he saw a year previously, a virus of alien origin. But this new effect proves that the virus has mutated into something else. He tells Sculder that the virus is part of an elaborate plan known as The Project and that the Posh Club intends to release it into the populous and wipe out humanity so that the alien colonists can return to Earth and take over. Sculder is sceptical so Chipmunk tells him to go back to Texas and investigate the site at Driftwood.
In England, a Nicely Waxed Man receives a phonecall at his country mansion from the Pipe Smoking Man informing him that all the members of the Posh Club are assembling, including their shadowy leader, a German named Conrad Supernoodle. The meeting takes place in London where the members are informed of the new effects of the alien virus and the gestating organism. The Nicely Waxed Man is shocked, it proves his long held suspicion that the alien colonists seek to betray the Posh Club and turn humanity into aliens instead of enslaving them (as was the original agreement). However, the rest of the Posh Club disagree, including Supernoodle. They argue that this could be an isolated case and that preparations for colonisation must continue, if only to give them time to work on their vaccine to the alien virus. The Pipe Smoking Man then informs the group of Sculder and Mully's clandestine investigations, and Supernoodle concludes that Mully must be abducted again to destroy Sculder's reserve. And if that fails or Sculder interferes, he is to be killed. He also orders the Nicely Waxed Man to kill Chipmunk for his exposure.
In Driftwood, Sculder and Mully find all evidence of the outbreak has been covered up. All they have is a lead of where the conspirators went afterwards. Following a chase through the desert, the agents arrive at the site of some sort of experiment involving corn crops in the middle of the desert and strange conical structures. On further investigation, Sculder and Mully enter one of the structures and discover it is a holding pen for a swarm of deadly Furbies. They escape without getting bitten, but are chased from the site by black helicopters which appear to be trying to find them, but not trying to kill them.
Back at the FBI, Mully presents her findings to the OPRUR but they are unrelenting in their accusations. Sculder goes to Chipmunk to tell him of his discoveries, but upon declaration of his ignorance Sculder concludes that Chipmunk has lied to him all along and simply wants information for his own conspiracy books. However, a search of his apartment leads him to photos of Chipmunk with his family. Mully arrives to tell him that she's quitting, but Sculder argues that they are closer to the truth than they have ever been before and she can't quit. On the verge of an emotional kiss, Mully is suddenly bitten by one of the Furbies which got caught under her coat when escaping the corn field. She is instantly taken ill, Sculder suspects that the Furby was carrying the alien virus to be released on an unsuspecting populous. He attempts to follow the ambulance but is stopped by the driver, who shoots Sculder in the head and drives off with Mully.
Mully is taken to the Pipe Smoking Man on board a plane bound for Antarctica. Meanwhile, Sculder wakes up in hospital to find himself confronted by his conspiracy buddies, the Tone Deaf Swordsmen. He tries to leave and peruse Mully but Spinner arrives to stop him, telling him that the Posh Club are watching his every move. Sculder hatches an escape plan involving the Tone Deaf Swordsmen creating a diversion. He makes contact with Chipmunk who agrees to meet him. However, the Nicely Waxed Man reaches the rendezvous first and confronts Chipmunk.
Sculder arrive to find Chipmunk disappeared and the Nicely Waxed Man waiting for him. The older man informs Sculder that he is willing to tell him Mully's location and help save her life. With little other choice, Sculder goes with him. In the car, the Nicely Waxed Man gives Sculder the vaccine and tells him that although it's weak it just might work. Sculder is sceptical but the Nicely Waxed Man attempts to gain his trust by telling him all about the conspiracy. He tells Sculder that the Posh Club were co-operating with the aliens to eventually colonise the Earth because the aliens offered them a chance to survive as alien/human hybrids, immune to the virus. He informs Sculder that the reason why his father allowed the Posh Club to take his hamster was not to sacrifice it but to help it survive as an alien/human hybrid. He also informs Sculder that he has finally lost faith in the Project having seen the gestating organism and realising even the promise of alien/human hybrids surviving is a lie and that everyone will die, including himself and his family. However, Sculder remains unconvinced when he discovers that the Nicely Waxed Man murdered Chipmunk and was under orders to kill him to. He gets out of the car with the vaccine, and the Nicely Waxed Man tells him that using it could not only save Mully but also stop colonisation. And that by doing so, he'd obey his father's wishes and Bite the Future. Before he can question further, the Nicely Waxed Man orders Sculder to leave. As Sculder walks down the road, the Nicely Waxed Man's car explodes.
24 hours later, Sculder arrives in Antarctica with the virus and discovers a small Posh Club facility. But before he can investigate he falls through the ice into some sort of larger structure where he finds humans being held inside strange Crypods. It is among these pods that he finds Mully. He injects her with the virus, which causes the whole structure to begin disintegrating. Meanwhile, on the surface, the Pipe Smoking Man discovers Sculder's arrival and the introduction of the vaccine into the structure and realises that it is going to bring about the gestation of all the aliens growing inside the hosts. He decides to evacuate, realising that Sculder probably won't survive the process.
Sculder manages to regain Mully's consciousness and lead her out of the structure before he is killed. However, the aliens begin to gestate and Sculder finds himself being confronted by a real life alien: a Teletubby born from a human host. Hurriedly Sculder and Mully escape the killer Teletubby and reach the surface. However, below them the ice begins to crack and they are dragged under the ice... only to be lifted up seconds later on the surface of a massive spaceship, the same structure which Mully was being held in. As Mully lies unconscious on the ice, Sculder watches the huge ship disappear. Finally, Mully awakens but can't remember anything about the incident. After a few hours, they are rescued by the Tone Deaf Swordsmen who followed Sculder to Antarctica.
Two days later, Mully reports her findings to the OPRUR who remain sceptical. However, she presents them with evidence of her abduction and informs them that even if they don't believe it, they should at least set up an investigative unit who can analyse the evidence. However, Sculder has finally lost faith in himself and his work. Knowing that the Posh Club's work is still continuing, he tells Mully that he can't sit back and watch her die for his personal crusade. But she tells him that now they finally know the truth of the Posh Club's plans that it is her crusade as well and that she won't leave him. Later, in Tunisia, the Pipe Smoking Man arrives at the site of another cornfield/Furby experiment to inform Supernoodle of the latest news. Supernoodle tells him that Sculder is of no concern, since one man cannot bite the future. But the Pipe Smoking Man argues that he is now reinvested, and presents Supernoodle with a telegram from the FBI informing him that the Hex Files have been re-opened.
