A truckload of Christmas tress is hijacked by Boss Hogg's thugs, and the Dukes disguise themselves as Santa Clauses to get them back.

Luke and Bo heed Uncle Jesse's advice to be good neighbors and run up against some new Hazzard citizens whose need for help seems beyond them, until Luke hits onto a desperate plan of action.

writer: Martin Roth, director: Hollingsworth Morse - It's Duke vs. Duke as Bo and Luke compete against each other, and Rosco, to try and win the J.D. Hogg First Annual Hazzard Derby.

After Bo hits his head and gets a case of temporary amnesia, Boss Hogg takes advantage of the situation to adopt Bo as his son so he can make a financial killing by having him run moonshine.

050, 02/06/81 - "To Catch a Duke"
writer: Bruce Howard, director: Denver Pyle - Rosco is stripped of his badge by Boss Hogg after the loot from a jewelry robbery is found in his car, so Rosco joins forces with the Dukes to find the real culprit.

Daisy moonlights as a reporter for the Hazzard Herald and gets a by-line when Boss Hogg overlooks the power of the press during one of his nefarious schemes.

Boss Hogg brings his mean nephew, Hughie Hogg, back to help nail the Duke cousins and lives to regret it.

writer: Jim Rogers, director: Denver Pyle - As an escaped convict returns to Hazzard to settle a score with Boss Hogg, Luke and Bo have to save their nemesis when he is kidnapped by the vengeful fugitive.

055, 03/27/81 - "The Great Hazzard Hijack"
Bo and Luke find 50 dollar bills floating down the river, money which turns out to be part of an armored car robbery that happend 5 years earlier. We meet one of Luke's Marine buddies in this episode. Roy Orbison gets caught in the celebrity speed trap and sings at the end of the show.
