'Ballykissangel - The Unofficial Fan Pages' as it was known then, started in January 1997. It began as a single page of information on the series, then expanded to include cast profiles and episode guide.

For the first six months it contained very few pictures - until I made it over to Avoca and got through five rolls of film. Most of those pictures are still on the site today.

For several months it was the only Ballykissangel site on the net, but it was soon joined by Philip's now defunct picture and sound archive, Sarah's Groovy Fan Pages and many others. The BBC finally added their own site in 2000.

I forget when Philip started theBallykissangel Mailing List, but its contribution to the online community can't be underestimated. It's still going now and you can join at Yahoo Groups.

I began the re-design of the site in May 2000, but due to my new job, the re-launch was put on hold until the start of Series Six - March 1st 2001.

The site is designed and maintained entirely on Apple computers.
