Project Scooby 2000

In a few moments you will be briefed on what Project Scooby 2000 is about. Understand that by reading the material on this page, you are becoming part of a vast revolution that's taking the Television world by storm. Prepare yourself for

About Project S2k:I, like many of you, would like to see Scooby and the gang back on television like the good old days. But is such a feat possible? And if so, how do we go about doing it? This is what the Project is all about. Under Project S2k, all of us Scooby fans can organize and band together for the purpose of getting Scooby back on TV and getting it done right. We, the public, must inform the good people at Turner, Time-Warner, and, most importantly, Hanna-Barbera about what we want.

Our Goals: So, we've already established that the one of the major goals of the Project is to get Scooby Doo back into the eye of entertainment. But this isn't as easy as it sounds. The people chosen to actually carry out such a task must know what they're doing. The people who made Scooby Doo on Zombie Island unfortunately did
not. Another stunt like that could mean the disgrace of Scooby Doo, especially if,
gasp, dare I say that vile name, DISNEY takes over and completely destroys it like they destroyed George of the Jungle and Inspector Gadget, two perfectly respectable cartoons!! Perish the thought!! So unless we want terribly incompetent actors playing Scooby and the Gang in an idiotic live action bomb with corny getting-hit-in-the-crotch gags (the nuts at Disney love that gag for some reason, no one knows why, and frankly no one really wants to know why....) we're going to have to take action and fast. There has already been rumors around Hollywood that Mike Meyers wants to make a live action Scooby movie, I just pray that isn't true. If Scooby is brought back, it can only really be done well if Casey Kasem returns to do shaggy's voice and reasonable replacements can be found for the rest of the gang. This is something Cartoon Network has failed to do. It's another one of the many faults of Scooby Doo on Zombie Island, the voices were completely and utterly wrong. The animation is another factor. I don't think Scooby should be made to look like Japanimation. Japanimation is fine and dandy, don't get me wrong, but it just doesn't mix with Scooby Doo. I feel Scooby should be left in its original 2-dimensional form. These are basically the things that the Project and the whole Scooby Revolution are all about.
