THE COLLECTED WORKS OF C. E. FORMAN
The mysterious C. E. Forman comes to us from Peoria, Illinois. He/she has already made a mark for himself/herself (he/she is kind of shy about revealing who he/she really is) in Daria fan fic with his "Lost Season". Please read these stories and see for yourself! I have now also included a couple of C. E.'s previous "Beavis and Butt-Head" stories for your pleasure.
DARIA: THE "LOST SEASON"
"Lotto Nonsense":
In C. E.'s first "Daria" fan fic, when Trent wins the lottery and gives the winnings to Daria, she learns first-hand how a tidy sum of money can affect one's popularity. Also, Quinn gets busted shoplifting!
"To Helen Back":
Jake and Helen subject their daughters to the horrors of "Take Your Daughter to Work Day" in this one. Actually, Quinn seems to be getting all the boys' attention at Jake's consulting firm while Daria gets her ass in trouble at court while Helen's arguing a big case. A must read!
"All Washed Up":
Daria and Jane get forced into a community carwash fundraiser while Quinn persuades the Fashion Club to take up rollerblading.
"Good Bye, Diarrhea":
This is the story that needed to be told. In this crossover with "Beavis and Butt-Head", C. E. takes a look at the events that necessitated the Morgendorffers' move from Highland, and Beavis and Butt-Head's reaction (such as it is) to it.
"Weighting to Exhale":
As Quinn becomes increasingly convinced she's fat, Daria and Jane find their friendship strained in a tug-of-war over a guy.
"Accept No Subtitutes":
A new substitute teacher at Lawndale triggers a change in student' attitudes. . .and puts Ms. Li on the rampage.
"Rain on Your Parade":
At the town's Lawndale Days festival, Daria gets musical, Quinn gets pressured, and Jake attempts to reclaim his lost childhood.
"Quinntet":
Daria attempts to reconcile with Trent, the Fashion Club share their true feelings, and Jake's second childhood takes a turn for the worse.
"Daria vs. the IRS":
While Quinn faces the rumor mill at school, Daria helps Jane and Trent battle the government's most malevolent hellbeast.
"Taking Debate":
Daria, Quinn and Sandi participate in the school forensics regionals, where they learn a little something about independent thought. . .at least, Daria does.
"No Picnic":
Morgendorffers + Landons = loads of family fun in the park! 'Nuff said!
"Driven Wild":
Daria borrows the family car in an effort to get closer to Trent. Will they finally get together? I'm not saying anything. Read and find out!
"Alienation Legacy":
Daria bugs the hell out of Quinn at their great aunt's funeral, and afterward. Concludes what I hope will be C. E.'s first "Daria" season. I hope he writes another one; (s)he's too damn good at this!
THE BEAVIS AND BUTT-HEAD STORIES
"Magic":
Mr. VanDreissen talks B&BH into putting on a magic act in the school talent show. Features an appearance by Daria.
"Atomic Butt Blast":
After gorgin himself at lunch during Mexican Day, Butt-Head gets really bad gas.
