Edward Mulhare played Devon Miles. Edward was born in Cork, Ireland. He replaced Rex Harrison as professor Henry Higgins in the Broadway version of "My Fair Lady". His first television role was as the ghost in The Ghost and Mrs. Muir. His final role before his death in 1997 after a long battle with cancer was opposite David Hasselhoff in Baywatch Nights.

David Hasselhoff played Michael Knight. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland. Before Knight Rider, David had a guest role on Police Story and starred in the sit-com Semi-Tough which only lasted for four episodes. David then landed the role of Snapper Foster on the soap The Young And The Restless. Soap fans didn't like him at first because he was a replacement for a previous actor but they soon grew to love him. David grew tired of the world of soap operas and was looking to break into prime time television. Knight Rider was the break he was looking for. He got the role of Micheal Knight through a chance encounter on an airplane with then NBC president Brandon Tartikoff. David is happy that he can raise the spirits of sick children by them just recognizing him as the Knight Rider. After Knight Rider, David lauched a successful singing career in Europe and became the most watched man in the world as lifeguard Mitch Buchannon due to the huge success of Baywatch. David also played Nick Furry in a Fox Movie of the Week.

Rebecca Holden played Dr. April Curtis KITT's programer. Rebecca was on the show for one season from 1984 to 1985 while Patricia McPherson was completing graduate studies. Rebecca guest starred in many TV shows and movies.

Patricia McPherson played Dr. Bonnie Barstow who was KITT's original programer. Besides Knight Rider Patricia guest starred in many TV shows including Star Trek The Next Generation.

Peter Parros who played TC3(Reginald Cornelius III). Besides Knight Rider, he had many small parts in TV shows. He is presently in soap operas.

Actor William Daniels supplied the voice of KITT. He was never seen in an episode of Knight Rider. He can be seen in St. Elsewhere as Dr. Mark Craig and currently as a professor on Boy Meets World.
