The Dick Van Dyke Show is one of my favourite classic comedies. The father, Rob Petrie (Dick Van Dyke), is one of the writers for The Allan Brady Show. The other hilarious writers are Sally(Rose Marie) and Buddy(Morey Amsterdam). His wife, Laura Petrie(Mary Tyler Moore) is a very sweet character. Their son, Ritchie(Larry Matthews) is very likable. Buddy's favourite pastime is annoying the producer, Mel. My favourite episode is "I was a teen age head writer." Rob buys a motorcycle and befriends some teenagers. Laura gets very worried. In the end, Rob finally agrees to sell the motorcycle.
