Fighting alongside Grimlock against Rampage, Rattrap was exposed to the same radiation from the Energon explosion as Grimlock, resulting in the same mutation of Spark and external strcture as well as the added strength, intellect and ability. Able to slowly regenerate after taking a hit, Rattrap has gained the immortality of Rampage whilst still remaining the wise-cracker of old. Armed with stealth and agility, Rattrap has gained a huge boost in intelligence and firepower. Engaging enemies in robot mode with his gauss pistol, Rattrap can deliver metal pellets at a break neck rate of fire with minimal sound, enabling him to carry out his stealth duties effectively and efficiently.When faced with a ammo depletion, Rattrap switches to his whip sword to dispatch his foes. Also equipped with an extra tough shield to deflect and guard when caught in a crossfire.Skilled in explosives, sabotage and spying, Rattrap remains a veteran unit ever crucial to the Maximal cause.


WEAPONS
Not much different from his older guns, this fast firing gauss pistol electromagnetically propels shards of metal at enemies at an incredibly high rate of fire. Powerful and with a large slip, the most important feature that helps Rattrap in his field of duty: low noise level. Extremely accurate in Rattrap's capable hands, this silent, compact and powerful pistol is capable of high damage.

As Rattrap's superstructure was merely altered and modified, this weapon also followed through with the radation mutation. This whipsword is extremely flexible and sharp at the tip, allowing quick fluid movement that with the greatest of skill, allow its user to manipulate it such that it would be almost impossible to predict before slashing cleanly through the defender. Mainly used as a secondary weapon or in a melee fight, Rattrap also uses this when low on ammo or at close range.
