Hi Everyone,
The stores are packed with back to school items. There are new lunchboxes, backpacks, binders and smaller school supplies at most of the department stores. Some stores have even begun putting out Halloween items. Not much of interest to us yet but the next month should reveal what new treats we can look forward too.

Walmarts has the ERTL snap together model kits in now at $7.98 each. At least six that I know of. Most are very similar to their diecast cars from last year except they are about six inches long.
Michaels Crafts has halloween window clings in and a Tweety mini flag. The clings are all new pictures this year.
Pic N Save now has in submarine and bubbles tub treads ($.99 for 10), lots of school supplies, and the tin signs from a few years ago. They had almost all the signs at ours but no price on them.
The Winfield Collection has their new Christmas woodworking patterns out. These include 25 small holiday wall plaques, 28 ornaments, decorating a snowman, tweety angel, and candy bowls. They also have some more regular patterns in including a toy chest/bench, peg shelves, clocks and yard art. You can get a catalog at 1-800-WINFIELD or at their website. WB has set up a site for their new video releases. It has info on the Taz video and the new Tweety's High Flying Adventure movie. Both are available in video stores and Walmarts/KMarts. I haven't seen them in stores yet but there have been lots of new holiday flags and windsocks on ebay. Very good prices too compared to regular stores.Two that we grabbed were a Bugs/Witch Hazel Halloween flag and a Tweety Christmas Stocking windsock.
