Gillian:  You know, Ryan, this is just like a dream - us being back together after everything we've been through. 

G:  My ring is so beautiful.  Thank you so much.

R:  It just really felt a little strange, you know?  Us making love while you were wearing another man's ring.  You may be Mrs. Jake Martin to the rest of the world but, while you're wearing that, you're all mine.

G:  I never want to take it off. 
R:  Hmm.  Maybe someday you won't have to, but for now -
G:  It's our little secret.  I wish we could just stay here forever.
R:  Me, too.  But, unfortunately, the real world is expecting me.  So I gotta get up.

G:  Do you have to go now?  I wish - I wish we could talk to each other, so I can tell you how much I love you.
R:  Well, you just got to pick up the phone anytime and call me.
G:  I can't.  It's too dangerous with Greenlee.  She could get suspicious , and she could tell the Martins.
R:  You're right.  You're absolutely right.  And if Adrian found out, that could get a little awkward, too.  You know, because he's basically family with the Martins, so -

G:  You know what Grandmama told me?  She said that when her mother and father were young and in love, he had to go off to war.  And so they couldn't really communicate, because they didn't have phones and stuff.  So they used carrier pigeons.  Don't you think that is so romantic?
R:  I just had an idea.
G:  What?
R:  Princess, I am about to take you into the 21st century.
