How did
get a part in neighbours and did you apply for any other parts
before the role of Amy? |
I had joined an agency when I was six years old. I started out doing commercials & modelling but found them less substantial than acting. I have appeared in a few films, mini-series, dramas, sitcoms & most recently Neighbours. |

When you joined the cast of Neighbours you appeared as Lance Wilkinson's
new girlfriend, since then your popularity has grown enormously.
However even though she’s included in the new cast photo Amy
still isn’t a resident of Ramsay Street. Do you think she
will be one of the first non-residents to be on the title
sequence? |
It could happen but probably only if I extend the contract to stay on Neighbours which will inevitably result in a family in Ramsay Street. |

Most of the younger charters in the show tend to get into a lot of
trouble in one way or the other with slightly more exciting
storylines that the older members of the cast, Amy has already
been involved with some pretty good storylines but what would you
like to happen to her next? |
I would like to see her have storylines with the older cast. Amys been with Lance for a year or so and it would be good to see her single, it gives me a chance to learn more and interact with other actors. |

Now
that you are under the Neighbours spotlight, do you think that
fame has changed you life and do you find it stressful coping
with all of you fan mail? |
It definatley has changed but not completely. People recognise me down the street which always makes me concerned to look good etc... It can be annoying in supermarkets and evenembarrasing. The fan-mail dosen't bother me so much, I do it when I can. |

As in
most cases in Ramsay Street do you think that the producers and
script writers will some how make Amy's parents move away so that
she can move into Ramsay Street on a full time basis? |
That's the usual consensus!! Hopefully my character will be a little different. Maybe they could put up some apartments for Amy - Kidding!! |

There
appears to be a lot of on-screen chemistry between yourself and
Andrew Bibby who plays your on-screen boyfriend Lance, but how do
the two of you get on off-screen and how do you get on with the
rest of the cast? |
We do get on fine off screen, he's an extremely easy person to get along with, very funny, a real character! The rest of the cast made me feel very comfortable and are great to work
with. |
