When Dawson approaches them, they hide their laughter and Jen pretends that she heard
nothing. When in the Boy's Locker Room, Dawson tells Pacey that Jen told him what they were
talking about, Pacey in return replies that Umpa Lumpa is really not a bad name. Dawson
become enraged and yells at Pacey.

We meet Joey in a classroom, giving a report on one of the Many Chinese Dynasties. When
she explains that this house hold 600 women for the emperor, the school stud makes wise
cracks. In lunch line, he cuts in front of her. After arguing with him, she beats the living snot out
of him when he makes a sex remark.

Dawson is playing Pacey in basketball. Pacey is showing off to the cheerleaders, Dawson's
anger flows over the cup when Pacey makes a Umpa Lumpa remark. Dawson chucks the
basketball in Pacey's face.

Jen is in a classroom talking about euthanasia, when she replies that life is a bitch after a short
argument with her teacher.

What do all these things have in common? Well they all result in getting Saturday Detention.
When they enter the Library to serve their detention, they see Pacey. He refuses to tell them
why he is in Saturday detention. Abby, the class "door knob", in which everyone gets a turn,
walks in. She says that she's in Saturday detention do to a little thing called orgies and a boy's
locker room.

The librarian is watching a week's worth of "Day's of our Lives" tapes in the teacher lounge, and
the group plays truth or dare. Pacey kisses Jen on the lips for 10 seconds and Dawson kisses
Joey on the lips for 15 seconds. They decide to leave the library and wander the halls. They
enter the gym where Pacey plays Dawson in basketball. If Dawson wins Pacey must tell why
he's in detention. They play awful, each missing their shots.

While in the stands, Jen, Abby, and Joey talk. Joey makes a remark about Jen and Jen asks
why she hates her so much. Abby says it's easy, that you two are both fighting for the same
man.

They leave in silence, Abby returns from getting a drink, and shouts that they are late, and the
librarian is almost done watching the tapes. Dawson shoots, making the shot winning the game.
They run back to see the ticked off librarian in the hallway.

The librarian pulls a draw of cards from the card catalog and dumps them on the floor. They
have to reorganize the cards. Abby doesn't help, but takes the credit at the very end. It seems
that Abby has not been a "door knob" but just lied because she was really in detention because
of being tardy to many times.

Pacey tells them why he is in detention. After being hit in the nose, the cheerleaders hugged
him, bandaged him up, and kissed him. He got a little overexcited and went to the boy's
bathroom to relieve some stress. The coach walked in on him, and thus Saturday detention.

As their detention is almost over, Dawson and Jen talk. He says he hates Umpa Lumpa because
it is everything he hates about himself. Not being athletic, etc. Jen replies that she loves him,
and lusts for him all the time.

Joey responds by saying not to worry. He won't die a virgin like she will. Joey makes a tearful
explanation that she has found the right person, but if she tells him, it would change everything.

The librarian comes in, saying their time is over.
