Tell Bush the world says no campaign Press Release - 30th August
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yesterday (29th August) as hundreds of thousands marched through the streets of
New York to protest the Bush regimes policies, 217 registered participants from
around the world took part in an online march on the White House in solidarity
with those in New York at 2 PM US Central Standard Time, 8PM UK time.

The Tell Bush the world says no campaign website has received more than 2000
"hits" in less than 4 days and over the course of the last week leading up to
our online protest we achieved our highest sign up rate for the action, with 36
people registering through the Live March site to join with us in the space of 5
days.

Overall the feedback has been excellent, in the months leading up to the action
over 300 people took advantage of the feedback form to let us know they fully
supported our stance and would be taking part in one way or another.

The aim of the protest was to tell the Bush regime that the world says no to
their agenda, and that people from around the world would not stand for one
administration in another country having such a negative impact upon world
affairs, in some instances having a negative impact on domestic issues also.

Yesterday, at least 217 people told the Bush regime exactly that.  In November
tha American citizens have a chance to oust this rogue regime from power through
their Presidential elections, we sincerely hope they achieve this.  The Spanish
government which stood so close to the Bush regime has already been ousted from
power by the good people of Spain, and the Blair and Howard governments in
Britain and Australia must surely be worried about holding onto power now.  (And
we will never forget that they have also played their part in assisting the US
administration to literally get away with murder.)

As the demonstrations continue in New York, we stand in solidarity with those
brave enough to protest in a climate where opposition is repressed, protesters
are herded into free speech zones and demonstrators are arrested for speaking
their mind.

The USA under George W Bush is sliding ever more into a fascistic state.  The
world is watching and waiting for the fascists and war criminals to be ousted
from power.

The suggested message which people had an option of sending was as follows:

Dear Mr Bush, it was Hermann Goering, a Nazi planner who once famously said
"Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the
leaders, that is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked,
and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to
danger. It works the same in every country."

This quotation I suppose could be equally applied to your regime as that is what
has happened. Those who have opposed your stance on not only the illegal
invasion and occupation of Iraq, but also the manner in which you have conducted
your so called "war on terrorism" have been branded as "against us",
"unamerican", "unpatriotic" and so on.

But Mr Bush we know that is not true don't we? For, you see we the people of the
world know that it is a pretence that you have waged your so called "war on
terrorism" to fight those who seek to do harm to our "freedom and democratic
loving peoples" as your regime has done much damage to those who really seek
real freedom and democracy. Your regime has implemented draconian policies such
as the patriot act, and sought to create free speech zones where on some
occasions people are criminalised.

This is not freedom and democracy in action. Your regime has been heavily
influenced by the Project for the New American Century group, a right wing
fundamentalist group far more dangerous than any terrorist organisation when you
consider that the United States has the ability to wipe many countries off the
face of the earth with its Weapons of Mass Destruction.

And speaking of weapons of mass destruction Mr Bush, why did you not allow the
weapons inspections teams from the United Nations to complete their tasks rather
than rush into war only to find there were none to be found?

Mr Bush, your foreign policy has been a disaster, many countries previously
allied to the United States no longer view your presidency as one which they can
be associated with; you have tore up international treaties, acted with
disregard to those who have tried to warn about environmental dangers to our
planet and completely ignored the international community with regard to
invading and occupying Iraq illegaly.

Mr Bush, I sincerely hope your presidency ends after the upcoming elections, as
that would most certainly make the world a better and safer place to live.

regards

If people wish, they can still send their messages to the White House using one

202 456 24 61

(If dialling from outside of the USA, dial [1] first, or [0][0][1] if dialling

"Tell Bush the world says no" campaign press release (26th August 2004)

As you are probably aware, this Sunday, the 29th August hundreds of thousands will take to the streets of New York - this time to protest the gross misuse of power by the rogue regime in the USA on the eve of the Republican National Convention which is almost certain to once again select Bush as their presidential candidate.

In solidarity with those who are marching in the USA, the Progressive Webgroup Alliance has been planning an online protest against the Bush regime. The protest will involve those who have registered to take part sending emails and faxes to the White House at a given time, also the registered participants will phone the White House, and visit their website at that time.

The aim of this action is to let the rogue US regime know that people from around the world do not agree with the actions taken by them over the course of this "presidency". The Bush regime have flouted international law, implemeneted draconian legislation, misled the public not only in the US, but around the world and generally behaved like parasites on humanity. The people taking part in this action will be sending a very clear message to that rogue regime that regime change is necessary in the US, and with that regime change hopefully can come a new period of reconcilliation with the rest of the world following the isolationist approach to issues such as the environment and international treaties which has had such a negative impact upon humanity.

These pariahs will hopefully be ousted from power in the upcoming presidential elections, if not then it is almost certain that the US will become even further isolated from the rest of the world - which obviously is a bad thing to happen considering the positives America is able to bring to humanity.

We have already seen over the course of the past few months the pro war Spanish government ousted from power because of his close stance to the toxic texecutioner squatting in the White House, the Australian Prime minister as you may know is receiving very low poll ratings, the British Prime Minister has been badly damaged by his "special relationship" and the Bush regime has damaged Americas reputation as a force for good in the world. We want to see America once again brought into the International Community, and not continue its fascistic decline under the present rogue regime, we want to see America come out of this period in history not as the pariah the world now sees it as, but as a country renewed with positive energy and spirit which it can be so capable of being.

You can see the "Tell Bush the world says no" website at http://oocities.com/tellbushtheworldsaysno, you can view the main protest page with comments from many people taking part at http://www.livemarch.com/marchHome.jsp?marchID=19
A small selection of participants comments:

No more blood for oil! Healthcare, Not Warfare! End Bush's wars! Books, Not Bombs! Bring the troops home now!

We here on Guam are a nothing more than a United States Colony. We were given US citizenship after WWII so land takings could be justified. Today, we are nothing more than a military out-post. Our only voice in D.C. is our non-voting Delagate, the U.S. citizen of Guam - The Chamorro people of Guam are not a part of this agenda nor did we vote for this President.

Everyday of this administration's foreign policies, we create more terrorists. Every day of its domestic policies, we see the rich take more of the society's resources while education, medical care, housing, and other basic needs are neglected. This has to stop. It is an obscene reversal of priorities.

Regime change is necessary for the continued safety and peace of the free world. Change the US Administration!!

REGISTER TO VOTE AND VOTE OFTEN, because a former US President once said that if the US Constitution and the US Defense Department are ever overtaken or overridden by one political party or another, the US Constitution can be destroyed. -President Dwight D. Eisenhower AKA Military General GOP Political Party

This Administration represents everything Fascist and Unconscionable!

Say NO to Torture, no to false imprisonment. No to imprisioning children (12 year old girls!). No to this bogus war. If you sit quietly while representatives of our country abuse others in our name, then you are as guilty as they are. Stand up and defend all your human brothers and sisters.

Quit beating around the Bush. Damn Coke Monkey. Throwing his feces around like he owns the place.

I am a registered Republican, as is my husband, who cannot believe what harm you have done to this country in almost every situation. Countries in the world that we support financially, are still against you. That SHOULD tell you something in words you can understand. Where is bin Laden? Where are the WMD? How many more of our children need to be maimed or killed for your war?

Mr. Bush, your presence today in the D Day here in Europe was an insult to the historic bonds that tie both sides of the Atlantic. In less than a mandate you almost destroyed a 100 years of efforts. For the sake of our world, get lost!

How many lives per gallon is enough?

GWB (and Tony Blair) has put the world in crisis...they have to go...and then we can start to heal the damage and hurt they have done.

Your ways are criminal, your agenda dangerous. Resign, and please understand that other human beings must be respected.

Not only most Americans are against Bush's presidency but also many people around the world whose lives are UNFORTUNATELY affected by US foreign policy.

Even the "Son" of your God did not inflict the pain & disaster upon ANYONE... How do you qualify to carry out your "Gods" orders from the old testiment? If Religion is your true motivator... ???
