List of Reasons Why
Mormonism Will Fail You
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- 90% of
Mormonism's ideas are made up other than what it mixes with things taken
from history and religious heretics.
- Not
one single Mormon priest can live a legitimate Mormon way in which their High
Priesthood is related exclusively to God. It is impossible that their
claims to true priesthood when God works with other priesthoods without
their priesthood authority. If God abundantly blessed the Mormon
priesthood (which isn’t happening) it still means God is blessing other
priesthoods though they drink alcohol and never upheld polygamy. Time will
prove Mormon priests just as blessed of God as any other preachers.
- God
doesn’t scare people into submission which is more like a symbol of Satan
involvement. Does God care about piercing and tattoos? I mean, has anyone
ever accused you of being in league with Satan for having a self-inflicted
scar? If your body is a temple then you should be able to decorate it how
you like. God isn’t about to inhabit it permanently. Mormonism is way too
intrusive into your personal life.
- How
many children of the billions of children who have lived on the earth have
died as infants traumatizing their parents? Mormonism teaches that these
parents will be able to raise these children in the afterlife. I think we
would have heard about this earlier in Christianity if someone was going
to be doing it. It is a cruel hope if it isn’t true which it isn’t. Just
another hang up to get hung up upon if you should lose a child.
- If you
hate thinking about how Mormons aren’t considered Christians, then you
might as well give away your copy of The Doctrine and Covenants, The Pearl
of Great Price, The Book of Mormon, and every other fantastic Christian
book other than the Bible that was ever written. --- Note: The Book of
Mormon isn’t opposed to Biblical Christianity only it is extremely
fictional so that’s all there is to complain about.
- Mormonism
is not racist; look at all the different backgrounds of lay Mormons. The
problem is racism is a part of Mormon history and like polygamy has precedential
theological application in their scripture. A majority of Christians never
had an injunction against other races in their histories let alone their
scripture. There have been a lot of racism in Christianity but never
institutionalized to the degree of Mormonism. A Crow law for entrance into
heaven is something that doesn’t set right for many people. If you enjoy
the duality this poses to your psyche then Mormonism may not fail you.
- One of
the more basic reasons Mormonism will fail you: Mormons don't run around
being gay, openly attracting emotional attention to themselves, or
starting a soup kitchen for the poverty inclined. If you like to be openly
extravagant and emotional Mormonism will be a let down.
- Mormonism
doesn't practice the black arts and is against them. It might not be a
good starting place for occult involvement. The history is fascinating but
Masons are just as good (and less intrusive) group to start. Mormonism
will fail you if you think their secrets are worth learning in your
magical life’s progression.
- Mormonism
does not hate anyone. They are on their way to being one of the most
insipid religions in all God’s creations. If you are against one group
then Mormonism will fail you in allowing you to be as adamantly against
what it is you hate as you would like to be. If you hate the other
Christian religions Mormonism may or may not fail you. It depends on how
ecumenical Mormonism becomes in the future.
- How many people have actually started
breaking the rules at their church or because of the mental constrictions
of their church? It is the natural place to start a rebellion. The problem
with Mormonism is it will fail you if you try and not fail Mormonism. It
is inevitable and the Mormons don’t have a good “Hail to Mary” to handle
it.
- Mormonism
has slammed many religions though it is not even an issue to be argued
about in their books. If you respect other religions expect to hear other
religions belittled in church. Mormonism will fail you in understanding
why other religions are so bad. Given the fact that one of their most
sacred rituals had a preacher from another religion in it whom was in
league with Satan might be a clue as to how religious tolerance will fail
you as a Mormon.
- Mormonism
shows a lot of good morals like friendship, bravery, loyalty, admiration,
respect, honesty, determination. A good Mormon just doesn't go around
breaking rules: it is their perilous situations that called for drastic
measures that will let you down in this regard. When you are threatened
with things that seam relative like being undercharged at the grocery
store Mormonism will make you feel guilty for not going back and righting
the situation. It is their obsession with perfection in good things that
will be the death of you.
- No one
out there can relate to many Mormons because they are not normal people
with normal emotions. Mormonism will fail you in forcing you to think that
normal is perfection, fable-ridden scriptural life, which requires strange
and arcane rituals to achieve this perfection.
- The
people out there who hate Mormons can't give you good reasons why they
hate Mormons and there really is no reason to hate Mormons. The only thing
to remember is that eventually most things fail you in life and Mormonism
is no exception to this rule. The problem is Mormonism will tell you that
it IS the exception to this rule. That is the biggest failure of all in a
religion. When a religion doesn’t apologize for its past but hides it and
doesn’t admit mistakes when they are made it leads people to feel failure
because people fail. It is in the acceptance of failure and trying to help
the failures that should concern Mormonism but it doesn’t.
- Since
Mormonism was created have there been reports of the mischief surrounding
religious hatred related to Mormonism? Yes but that was in the past.
Mormonism will constantly bring up their persecution to justify their
actions. If you like feeling persecuted then Mormonism is for you, else it
will fail you.
- The
Mormon prophet is an image of a person with good morals that people can
look up to. If you want this popular man to be your guiding light then
Mormonism will not fail you too bad but if he isn’t the paragon of what it
is to be a person in this world then don’t bother to even speak to the
Mormon missionaries.
