My friend wrote something very sweet the other day for one of my friends that he loves...

When god made this earth, he didn't make machinery, or pollution, or the other things that make life harder to live today. From the beginning until now, I think that man has come to enjoy life less and less because of all the stress he places upon himself. I believe that life is something that should be enjoyed to the fullest extent. However, as I said, life has become something harder to enjoy. But I'm lucky. I have a way out. You know, I have so many things to be pissed off about right now. I'm missing Avery's party, the last dance of the year, I have REALLY bad allergies, my grades are dropping, my parents don't let me date, my mom's over protective, I could go on and on. But you know, its really not that bad. As I sit in my room late at night, and all these things are rushing through my head, and anger seems to swim throughout my veins, its really not that bad. Because no matter what is pissing me off I always know this: Angel is my friend. And then the anger cools down and I lie in bed for another few hours, thinking of you.

There are many kinds of freedom that I wish I had; and the one that plays into my mind the most is to speak any message to who ever I wanted. One of them is the American People; and to have the freedom to speak to as many individuals as my voice could carry. Now in the light of a year gone by sense 9-11 I find that freedom more pressing upon my mind than ever. If I had the freedom I would tell the world that I have seen thirteen years with out true war, and on that unexpected day I saw its fire on my television screen. We respond and try to honor our dead with anger, bombs and words of hatred. If I had the freedom to speak to the American people I would tell them to honor our dead with the greatest thing possible; honor them with peace.
