Fire place screens

Commissioned Design, this fireplace screen is a one-of-a-kind design which incorporates the client's desires for natural elements. The birds and tubuk were forged of naval brass and polished to a mirror finish. Contrasting with these elements are forged brass rainbow-like arches with a brushed wire finish.

The squirrel and rabbit in the lower center were forged from solid copper and polished to a mirror finish. Additional elements forged from copper were the cattails and leaves. A verde patina was applied to these pieces to contrast the copper and brass color and to complement the interior furnishings of the home.

An "S-Hook!!"

It is hanging on a campfire cookset, where it would be used to hold a pot or kettle above the fire. Longer or shorter hooks would let the food get closer to the fire and hotter or kept up away from the flames to gently simmer. An S-hook can also be used to hang wicker baskets from overhead beams or rods. S-hooks of appropriate size can be used to hang just about anything from just about anywhere.

Outdoor or Indoor Candle Holders.......

These are fun, each hanging candle holder comes with a pretty globe and can be moved from your deck to your yard or into your house and hung on a wall mounted sconce. In the winter months a copper shield or small roof can be placed over the globe and the candle holder becomes a small attractive bird feeder.

Light sculpture...........

This sculptural accent light was made by integrating the strength and density of steel, brass, and copper with the fragility and translucent qualities of etched glass. A strong feeling of life is grounded in metal and shines as ethereal light through the etched glass. The two contrasting materials interact and reflect each others forms in an attempt to meld with one another.

Serpant plant stand...............

This plant stand's uniqueness is in the natural root forms such as those found in nature. The solid brass serpents entwining the stand are ancient symbols for life. An 18" diameter marble top made of Red Levanto marble adds elegance to the overall design. This plant stand is a classical example of combining natural form with function.

~~Book Quotes about collars~~

"This rope collar is rough and coarse," said Ladletender, fingering the rope collar.
"Would you not like a smooth steel collar, one slender and gleaming, or perhaps ornamented and cunningly wrought, or enameled, perhaps to match your eyes and hair, one designed in color and workmanship to enhance your style of beauty, one perhaps measured or custom-fitted to the beauty of your own slave throat?"
"Whatever pleases Master," I said.
I knew that a steel collar did immeasurably enhance the beauty of a girl. I had learned there was great variety among them.
They ranged from simple bands of iron, hammered about a girl's throat, her head held down on an anvil, to bejeweled, wondrously wrought, close-locking circlets befitting the preferred slave; such collars, whether worn by a kitchen slave or a prize beauty, had two things in common; they cannot be removed by the girl and they mark her as slave.

Some say the collar releases the beauty in a woman.
Perhaps it is true, I had worn only a rope collar, but yet it seemed to me that it, even in its coarseness, made me more beautiful, more exciting.

The Blacksmith can make a special patterns for buckles and harness rings. Ornamental slave bracelets and cuffs, special linked chains for displaying a slave is not a problem.
