WINTER 2008

After a long quiet period, the Temple of Iarhibol is preparing an online update and re-launch for the spring of 2009! We have reserved two domain names for the temple: www.templeofiarhibol.org  and www.templeofyarhibol.org. (The sites still have to be uploaded, so  keep checking back until they're fully online.) These will be "mirror sites" for the most common alternative spellings of Iarhibol's name, so that the Temple will be easily findable on all search engines.

The mailing list has been updated and restarted, and the websites will be expanded. We are particularly looking forward to adding new information on Iarhibol's meaning for today, as well as more rituals, rites and meditations.

Once the new updated information is online there will be an effort to re-link the Temple of Iarhibol with the various search engines and Pagan online resources. The Temple has actually continued to have a respectable web presence with just this small GeoCities website, so we can look forward to even greater visibility around the world.

On a personal note, as the creator of this site I wish to apologize for the long space between updates. It was never my intention to neglect the restoration of Iarhibol's worship to the world. Modern paganism faces the same problem as ancient paganism in its waning years - there are just too few people, and most of us take on many duties and roles. I overextended my many religious and civic involvements... and finally had to make many personal changes in order to become a productive member of the religious community again.

Iarhibol is returning to the world, during this time where both the Light and an alternative to modern Middle Eastern religion are both so sorely needed. The rebuilding of this temple was inevitable.

-Marcus Cassius Julianus
