description:
Skip Jefferson had just had his work visa in Malton extended for
another 2 years. To celebrate he and his workmates had spent the whole night
drinking. Suffering the worst hang over that he could remember, Skip wished he
was dead. It was then that he was beset by his former colleagues.
The next thing he knew, Skip woke up as one of the urban dead. He
limped from one street to the next, pathetically standing outside shops and
hospitals. He had forgotten how to operate door handles, and could only
manage a few gutteral grunts and moans. He also developed a heavy
craving for fresh meat.
After what seemed an eternity of this dismal purgatory, Skip was
revivified by a good samaritan. He was his old self again, and proceeded to do the
happy dance. This was cut short, as he had attracted the attention of
several urban dead. Escaping into the nearest hospital, Skip slowly
learned how to survive to the next sunrise. He realised he was hopeless with
firearms, and that his preferred weapon of choice, was his fire axe.
It was after his second kill that Skip heard the broadcast calling for
melee fighters to join 'Axes High'.... |
