The return of BQT in 2007 Five opening cases in BQT 2007

<bgsound src="//www33.websamba.com/tenkensmile/Mong-uyen-uong-ho-diep.mid" loop="infinite"> Have you ever watched Bao Cong (Bao Qing Tian) series, the original Taiwanese version? If not, you're missing one of the greatest films ever! I was 10 years old when I first encountered it in my homeland Vietnam. I just rewatched it today, and memories were flooding in like wather through a broken dyke. I am really surprised to know that BQT is having a sequel in 2007! On this remarkable occasion, I'd like to share my general comments on this great series (for more thorough comments, please refer to my blog above) :)

I can't recall how many BQT versions there are over the years, whether it's TVB, ATV, Taiwan or mainland productions. Tons of derivatives. Jin Chao Qun himself starred in almost all versions. To me, he was born to play Bao Gong. He did a splendid job at conveying Bao's flair, calmness and rectitude in every situation! He wasn't afraid of any kind of power and would do his best to carry out Justice. As many others, I believe that the original version (Taiwan, 1994) is the best! On the other side, the series also portrayed the relationship of the Khai-Phong-that-hiep (Kai Fung sat hap - Seven heroes of Kai Fung): Cong Ton Sach (Gong Sun Ce) was a mere student without appropriate recognition before he met Bao Gong. Vuong Trieu, Ma Han, Truong Long, Trieu Ho (Wang Chao, Ma Han, Zhang Long, Zhao Hu) were recruited by Bao himself when he saw the good sides of them. Among them, Trien Chieu (Zhan Zhao) dearly respected Bao as he did to his father, a devine effection that made him sacrifice anything for him, aka: for Justice itself. As an audience, I really admire their relationship: It looks like they were family members to one another, not a boss-dependent group!

Once and for all, again, no matter how many derivatives of BQT there are, I must acknowledge that Kenny He Jia Jin has been the first (also the best) Trien Chieu (Zhan Zhao) : Undeniably, he demonstrated very well who this character was: brave, smart, quick-tempered, highly responsible, straightforward ... and most adorably, he was able to show that Trien Chieu was a dutiful government's officer but at the same time, didn't lose the humanness side of himself! Fan Hong Xun (as Gong Sun Ce): He was the least-mentioned one of the trio. Wonder why? :D Didn't he shine in the series? He DID, brightly! Fan had the most gentle-looking appearance and best acting compared to other actors who played Gong Sun Ce. He really suited the role!
