Hey everyone, put those snow shovels away and start to think summer.  It is almost that time of the year for us to begin planning the summer doubles league.  We are looking for someone that would like to run the league this summer.  It will be on Tuesday nights and you will need to set up the put the divisions together, setup matches, report scores, and just make it a fun time for everyone.  Keith Kron has done this in the past and will be there to help you along the way.  If you would like to volunteer for this coveted position, please e-mail Keith at KKron@uua.org

Boris Becker - not only was he a pleasure to watch on the tennis court, but he seemed so insightful and intelligent off the court.  I always had the feeling that he would be even more successful once his tennis

career was over.

 

Tennis Idol Female and why?:

Venus Williams - her game has matured and become more complete before my eyes; she and Serena have faced

unprecedented public scrutiny, but yet they still manage to win and do so with unbelievable grace
