What is the HiPS
?
The
HiPS
is a comprehensive and systematic approach leading to the long-term athletes' development.
The
HiPS
has 8 functions based on the key areas for developing tennis players (
Figure
):
1. Athletic Conditioning System
The conditioning system contains following two systems:
- Training System to enhace positive responses (eg performance)
- Reconditioning System to quickly recover from negative reponses (eg overtrianing)
