The polemic new doubles rule Top Five Players are not allowed to play doubles together? That's Right! All the top five players are not allowed playing doubles together! Of Course all the top players are outraged by this desicion from the TTT Board! All the top players do not like this desicion at all and will not stand for this stupid rule as they call it! As we know most of the top 5 players play doubles together and win lots of tournaments! But how will they defend those crucial points! Here is what Randy had to say about this whole rule change "I think this recent rule change is pretty silly myself.I can understand that perhaps the concept means well, by trying to get higher ranked and lower ranked pairs teaming together, but it is unfair to take away freedom of choice to play doubles with whoever we want.If certain higher ranked players want to pair with other players lower ranked,that should be a choice,not something forced!" One of the lower ranked players,Paul has gotten his way as he has been forcing this issue for quite some time with the TTT Board of Rules! Reports say that mainly Anabel has mad this desicion and players are not to happy with her at all! Here is a lower ranked player's perspective as Steven gave us some few words of his mind"You would think that I would think that this would be a good idea but it is definently not a good one! I personally think that Doubles should be one of the most fun things about tennis but it has been turned into a forcing issue! I wouldn't like to be playing with someone that has been forced to play with me and I think that's the same for the top players!" A gang has been issued as ILT,Randy and Sonfo will not play doubles until this rule is turned around and they seem pretty strong about it!
