If you're a first time visitor, an unenlightened one, or even a member that doesn't get it yet, you may be wondering what exactly is the TSP. You may think it's just a fancy name for a section in the band. You may think it's nothing more than a lame take off of the "Blair Witch Project". You may even think it's the oversized egos of a few tenor sax players. You would be sadly mistaken. It's all good though, a lot of people have this misconception. We won't hold it against you.
We understand that you may have read the first paragraph and decided against reading this one. This is ok, as very few people have what it takes. If you've gotten this far, we congratulate you. Welcome to the TSP... What is the TSP? The simplicity of the question insults the boundless nature of the answer. The TSP is not one thing. It is everything. It is an idea, a state of mind, a creativeness, and a charisma, a karma of sorts. The TSP strive for perfection, harmony, and a degree of awareness unsurpassed by many. The tenor sax is symbolic of this way of life. With this said, the founders welcome you into the world that is TSP. They wish you the best in your individual pursuit of the TSP ideal. The Tenor Sax Project was formed out of their undying affection for harmony. This remains as the last remembrance of the mighty trio... |
