July 10 - 13 REPORT (continued)
WEDNESDAY - A young lady and her boyfriend showed up at the meeting tonight. After the service, she came to me in tears and told me that they had both been in jail. Then she said that earlier that day they were both informed that they were to be let out- and neither of them had the slightest idea of why thjat was happening. They got to Rosebud just in time for the meeting and saw the tent and decided to stop in. In tears she told me that she now knows that God had worked a miracle so they both would be let out of jail in time to be there at the meeting and make a commitment to serve Him. With tears running down her face she gave me a hug and praised God that He had brought them to this place in their lives. She also told me that she and her boyfriend were going to get married and join the church there in Rosebud.
With the exception of two people, the entire church came forward tonight and made a commitment to serve God there in the Rosebud Baptist Church and stand with their pastor, brother Whirlwind, as they all work to further the cause of Christ on the reservation.
