| 10-9-2002: As you can see the site is going through tons of changes. Check out the lyrics section again as I added Promise. The site is starting to come along really good. The pictures section is not available yet, but soon we're hoping to upload some pictures of our first gig and also of random shots. Finally, we added a bunch of new links. | 10-11-2002: Hey, my first time writting in this thingie. Well, we're gonna record tonight, some guitar tracks for I don't know what, but something. We plan on recording some more, and then starting to do more shows. Or should I say, shows. If anyone knows anyone who can book us shows, or is someone who can book us, email us. I'm going to be recording an album for my senior project, and when I start doing this (I'm in the process of songwritting), it's basically completely open for contributers for recording. This will probably be in the winter or spring, but just giving you advanced notice.... yeah, bye. Derek |
| 10-15-2002: Hey, been quite a few days since we updated. Tequilla Mockingbird is finding it hard to get together. Much wasnt done while Derek was gone. We really want to finish so that we can start booking shows. I think Tequilla Mockingbird is in a stage where, we all know what we want to do and how far we want to go with music. We are all very serious and I think thats why we are taking our time with this cd. We dont wanna rush it and have something bad come out. We have been working very hard these past few weeks trying to put something good together. We want our long time and effort to be heard in our music and for people to realize that we are more than just another long island rock band. | 10-16-2002: Happy Birthday FLEA !!!! =) Today is Flea's 40th birthday. For those of you who dont know...Flea is the bassist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I got the information for the Epic Heroes show. It's November 23rd at the Castle Camelot. I got directions so email me at ThePatriot091101@aol.com and i'll send you them. Email me though even if you have any questions. Tequilla Mockingbird is going to be getting together later this week to try and complete most of the demo cd. Tracks that are gonna be recorded are Clarity and UnReal. We're not to sure what other track we wanna put on there. But for now just check out the site...I added a ton of links, so go check them out. | 10-22-2002: Well well well...Tequilla Mockingbird is proud to have released their new single, Winter Raven. Yes, Winter Raven is finally done and it's available for you all to listen to at mp3.com. There is a cleaner version which we are gonna put out but for now you have the studio version of winter raven to check out. There are a lot of things comming up in the schedule. We plan on having a few more songs recorded in the next week or so. Once we get these things recorded we are gonna send the demo out to a bunch of places, get heard and hopefully start playing shows on a regular basis. Also, we have some brand new songs that are in the works. Please continue supporting us. We know that we haven't really done much in the line of shows and handing out cd's, but all I can say is, is that we are really working hard on our material so that it comes out a success. ~Peace, Love and Respect Mike |

| 3-15-2003: It feels like yesterday since I made the last post...but its like 3 weeks later. I guess thats because we have been so busy working on material that the time is just flying by. Derek is finally home !! We are going to try and get as much rehearsal time in as possible. We have a lot of songs that are really going somewhere. Everyone has a lot of positive ideas and its great to finally be going somewhere. Please keep checking back because hopefully by the end of this week we can have a song or two up on the site. Anyone who visits our page on a regular basis will notice some of the changes I made around the site. Im glad to say that we are FINALLY making progress. We have rehearsed 2 days so far this week and we are playing again this afternoon. We're getting a lot done and hope to record a few tracks once Derek comes home. At this time we are currently looking for other bands to team up with. Once we put together a sample, we want to start playing shows. If anyone is interested please email us. Anyway we've all been doing our own things recently but that will soon be remedied! This Thanksgiving break TM will be returning to the stage....orJosh's basement, or my sunroon. Whatever. Writing and recording will take place. Then, album release. IT shall be done. Keep checking back here for more updates!
