			Whoo Hoo!!!!  I did it.  It was exhilerating!  I had my debut as a Stand-Up comedian last night at Stand-Up New York comedy club.  Oh my goodness, it was terrific.  Thank you to everyone.  Thanks to Carol who sent her daughter and her posse to see the show.  I thought I had a stomach flu the day but it miraculously disappeared after my performance.  Who knew?  Mor about everything after 7/30/05.  I'll bring the tape if anyone wants to see my 5 minutes of fame. I LOVE New York!  There is so much action. xoxox Teresa ps.  Eat Well & move.  I heard it has been as hot as the blazes.  You'll really melt away those pounds. :^) Pss  Thank You Deborah.  I hear you are doing a fabulous job.
	Thursday,July 7,2005 I'm here!  I'm settling in to city living quite nicely, navigating the trains and seeing the sights.  Jane Pauly was on my tour at the Met yesterday and after a quick star-struck moment I just wanted her to get ut of my way in the Frank Lloyd Wright room.  She didn't get the memo that "it is all about me." I love this city.  It's scary and stimulating.  The food is awesome.  Fortunately I walk everywhere and carry everything so the bread isn't showing itself on the scale.  I haven't made it to a  WW meeting yet because of the holiday (fireworks with a backdrop of the Statue of Liberty)  and my classes.  The class has begun with full steam.  The first night I thought I might perhaps throw up I was so nervous.  I questioned  my sanity to have signed up for this.  The bakery and the bar both looked like courage as I was walking from the subway towards the studio. It was tough.   I literally had to sit down and have a session with myself.  I said "Self, you want to do this.  You can do this.  If you are questioning yourself, go ahead, question but remember there are plenty of friends who believe you can do it and they'll hold you up when you are not sure."  So without a cookie or a shot of tequila I walked in to my first Big Girl comedy class.  I wasn't the best, I wasn't the worst I was ME!  Thank you for having my back this week. I miss you guys. :^)Teresa Isn't it amazing how this is just like weight loss?
				Saturday June 25, 2005 I'm touched by the out pouring of well wishes I received from everyone at the Saturday meetings this morning.  Wow!  Thank You 9:30 Peeps for the binder full of letters.  They are each poignant and truly a  heartfelt gift.  The suit cases are out.  The clothes are planned.  My ideas for a routine are scribbled on slips of paper in my expandable folder. (Thank you Nancy for the B---- quote and Barbara for the follow up.)  It's almost time and I'm getting excited.  I feel as if you'll all be there to hold me up in case I get weak kneed.  Thank You so much for  believing in me. xoxoxo
