I love Music!!! |

Music has always played an important part in my life. It can really change my mood in a matter of seconds . The first song that I remember liking was "Cheer up" by Kenny Rogers! I was 4 or 5 years old at the time. I loved that song and still have the 45 of it. I went on from that to "Puff the magic dragon" by Peter Paul and Mary, which by the way I still love ;) Most of the events in my life I remember by what song I heard on the radio, or what songs were popular then and sometimes just hearing a certain song brings back unforgettable memories.
I played Clarinet in 5th grade thru High School and even some in College. I was not bad at it either!
Being in band exposed me to many different styles of music. I came to love Jazz and Classical and I own quite a few of these types of albums.
All through out high school my favorite style of music to listen too was probably Progressive Rock or pop. While most of my friends were in the Disco era, I preferred Styx, Journey, Kansas and Barry Manilow! My record collection (Yes vinyl lp's) is pretty big. I have quite a few 45's also. Below I have listed some of my favorite bands. I like a wide range of taste, everything from anime music to hard rock. I'm always adding bands so check back again! |

Metallica is just one of those bands I cannot describe ;) I absolutely love OLD Metallica and even some of their newer stuff. But the best way to hear Metallica has to be LOUD!!! Great party Music! I liked them better before they cut their hair though ;) I think "One" is a favorite Metallica song and "For Whom The Bell Tolls"but I can't say I have one Favorite! |

I first heard this band in 1994 I think, Selling the Drama was my favorite at that time! I alone is another favorite that I love. I like some of their acoustic versions too. I have never seen them in concert but would have liked too. |

Styx might just be my first love ;) I love Styx! Although Dennis Deyoung ,is no longer a part of Styx I still love everything they do. I do prefer OLD styx and anything that Dennis does compared to the new Styx but I like them just the same!
Styx was the first concert I ever went to and I saw them 4 times I think. I fell in love with Styx in 1976 with Lady, and then majorly in love with them in 1977 with the release of "The Grand Illusion" That is my favorite album. Styx is one of those bands that just brings back all the nostalgia of my high school years. |
