Happy Valentine's Day!!

One of my favorite holidays is Valentines Day! Why? I'm a hopeless romantic, I am a sap when it comes to love and I like hearts. Other then that  I don't really have a good reason I suppose, but then do you need a reason to like Valentine's day?  I love to make others happy by sending them flowers or mementos. It's a day when everyone is  happy! SO why not send that certain someone an email card or valentine right now! If you don't have "someone" then send it to a friend!! Even friends need love!!

Compile a Romantic CD for your Valentine, select favorite love songs and put them on CD or cassette. Fill your Valentines bedroom with flowers and balloons...can't get to the bedroom? Fill their car with Red balloons! Leave heart shaped notes all over the house, bathroom, kitchen, refrigerator .. Traditional gifts such as flowers sent to work and chocolate are always good choices! Can't be with your Valentine on Valentines Day? Send them a package of "senses" Scented oils or candles to smell, Stuffed animals or cuddly toy to touch, Book of poetry to read, cassette of love poems or favorite songs, special valentine candy or homemade cookies for taste. Make a pillow case scrapbook! Copy photos mementos etc on transfer paper and iron on pillow case for a sweet surprise! Mini Heart shaped muffins make a great way to start the morning!

If you don't like to go out on Valentine's with all the other people....why not make it a special dinner at home. Plan something special to eat that you both like . You can even seat your "date" and give her/him a hand written menu, add table cloths and floating heart shaped candles and you have the perfect romantic dinner. Make it fun! Isn't that what passion is all about anyway? ;)
