For 54 Seconds fans, both Glenn & Stewart play on this album, so that's
definitely a
special feature -- Another one being the fact that Mr. McGregor, co-writes on 2 of the songs ("Real" &
"High").Should you buy this album?
Yes!
Nice start to the album with "Everybody". For me it is the perfect
feel to start with. I'm really loving this song more with every listen. Moving
onto "Grumbly Love Song", which is my 2nd favourite.
Very nice cover of "Help Me" (my favourite Joni Mitchell song -- which is the only
cover song on the album). All the other songs are very good, with an
extra special mention for "Shoes", which swims around my head, long
after the album has ended. "I'm Over It" is one killer
song and is, without a doubt, my absolute favourite .... although
..... I think I still prefer the live version (which you can get on
Ginger's "Live At The Cactus" album -- also available as a free download
on Mp3.Com).
Finishing up the album with the mellow "Learning how to
breathe". Money well spent!
Ginger has great lyrics, and everyone can easily relate to
every song in one way or another.
This is a really nice album, and you should definitely get it!
