Contrary to popular belief, I don't draw with my nose. But really, how much difference would it make?
| Because I am too lazy and too incompetent to make a proper web-page to hold this terrifying glut of images at the moment, this is what you get. And you better be happy with it. OR ELSE. *Shakes fist menacingly* | A sketch I drew of Rafael working in a forge. Hopefully will become a proper picture one day. |
A boring old Tern reference picture.
Now with crappy crosshatching! Ooor...the eye-hurtingly large version. |
Also, a less terrifyingly ugly Tern profile.
His dadao now has stuff on. Yus. |
Tern, after haircut.
Ugly doodle, just inks over pencil. And he does NOT look silly now, so there >:|. |
This sketch of Irv is DURTY. It is also so anatomically incorrect that it makes my teeth hurt. Damn you, big hands. Irvin Kestel is the intellectual property of Reagan Lodge...so leave him be. |
This, this and this are the three renditions I've done of Morgan. Like Irv and Tern, he is a Vagrant arrpeegee character. Morgan is the intellectual property of his player, Billy. Horray! Okay, no. There's another one. I have made more Morgans than I have Terns. |
These three here are a trio of roughs of Sikale, again of Vagrant. Sure, they look pretty much the same, but the second is one of the most anatomically accurate pitchoors I've drawn, thanks to Suz Bateson (who is also the character's player in Vagrant, and a beyootiful artist, an actual proper one) redlining the first. The only really ucky problem that remained was the horns, which I hopefully fixed for the third, most detailed one. I'm not sure whether to be elated or depressed. I think I shall be... deprated. Sikale is the intellectual property of Suz Bateson, so whatever you were thinking...STOP IT. |
One day, I will draw proper pitchoors. But for now, yet more Vagranters, Sirocco Hitzeaugen (lizard-ish) and Redminster Greenburrows Fulstonbury III (jacob's sheep). They are the intellectual property of their player...for the law! | Where? Where on the stair? Right there! Is Quitch, the formerly-underground dwelling rat of #Vagrant, who is the intellectual property of goood ol' Majicboots. It was a narrow save for his right leg in the second version...to bad I couldn't do the same for his arm. Grr...((Wait. One extra thing. This was an ART-TRADE! OMG!!!11 I did an ART-TRADE with someone on YERF!!! *ahem* Yes. Normal service will now be resumed. Thankyou.)) |
SQUEE. Messing around with waterclours and blendable pencils on the above. Quitch -still- belongs to his player. |
VROOM. Because I didn't like the pitchoor I swopped with t3|-| 5t33\/z0r here is a scribble of Junkyard the mongrel-dog, who also belongs to him. And it's an IMPRESSIONIST motorbike, dang it. Perchance one day to be made good. Who knows? Not me. How about you? Vote now! |
Skarkskarkskark. What!? A #Vagrant character portarait!? How utterly unexpected. Cara Mitten, who may have fingers possessed by some kind of drawing demon, is the player of Skark, the hyena with a little fruit-bat in him. He likes junk. Junkjunkjunk. Here is the pencil version. |
Orobas Post. Again #Vagrant, again for Billy, this is a sloppy little doodle of Post, the petryon. The little swirly dot-things are meant to be wind-blown sand. So sue me. |
let's talk clours. I dunno...Quaina is another #Vagrant character, who is the intellectual property of her player. 'Nuff said. Here are two things I can't do, conviniently wrapped in one simple package: Clours, and girlnatomy. I think I was trying for 'sexy', or 'cute'. I just wish I'd spent more time on 'anatomically correct'. Well, there's always next time... |
KayVee...jump! No matter what happens, I always return to my trusty shiny clickety pencil. Thusly, in this chicken-scratching, KayVee, who belongs to his player, is doing something vaguely dynamic. Yes indeed. |
I like KAPPA. When I stop being such a slack bastard, I'd like to create a second character to play in Vagrant, which would, of course, be this guy, the as-yet unnamed kappa, loosely based on the eponymous mythological japanese water spirit. As for the pitchoors themselves, their chief and only merit is his cheeky grin. |
And so, the madness began. *Sigh* Because almost no-one demanded it, I present some OOC #Vagrant silliness: sailor Morgan (and colour version) and maid Tern. Morgan is Billy's, as always, and Tern is still mine. Even when he's crossdessing. |
For too long, I've lived in shame. Now, it's time to come out of the closet. I like robots. Big, clunky ones. Behold, Wildlander 21. Respect his head. |
ROBOT! Wildlander 21 again. With ULTIMATE EXTRA CLOUR. It looks a bit like a nightlight, because of the way my incompetent fiddling with levels turned out. I kinda like the effect here, though. Otherwise, this pitchoor is pretty bad. 0\/\/3|_|_. |
Speaking of robots... This was the tremulous beginnings of an attempt to make a full-bodied pitchoor, with a background and stuff. But, instead, it 'aint. I hope it still conveys some of the feeling I wanted it to, though. A kind of...accomplished weariness. Hence it's title, 'after the march'. |
Glimmer=REVENANT. He has lots of pins. One of them says a naughty word, but it is too small and fuzzy to see. Heehee. Various fatnesses of technical pen. |
Glimmer gets re-stitched. Sketch for a piece. Bear with me, okay? Mayrot/Mirrue, who guest stars, is intellectual and copyrighted property of Chancey Hall. |
Ohoashinbo. Ley-sensitive bighorn-sheep/okapi citykiller and one of Glimmer's more deadly foes. Yes, he does have giant bells. He uses them to kill people. So hush. Waterclour brushes and Chinese ink over a pencil sketch. I like working this way, but I can't be arsed most of the time. C'est la vie. |
The pierrot's dance. Ohoashinbo again, from back when he'm were a child in the circus. Markers over simple inks. I love the idea, but as always, my excecution is the rubbish. |
A lazily clour-pencillised faux art-noveau Levi. Harhar. Levi ish my favourite, yesh he ish. He is the star of Seraph's Hill, which means nothing to anybody. And I DON'T CARE. Double har har. I loves me mah Mucha books. Gah. I should do these updates when I am not rillyrilly tired. BED. |
Samson Leonidas Dubois, more art-nouveau-ish nonsense. Another of my Seraph's Hill Chimirae. Here, he's dressed in the 'informal' attire of the First Duc of the Marches, heir apparent to the Black Kingdom. Again, that will mean absolutely nothing to anyone else. And I'm fine with that. |
Is this getting boring yet? Autumn Walberg, variagated feline duelist from Seraph's hill, my continuing wassitcalled, project, to make one of these slightly Mucha-esque portratits for the main cast. What is he sitting on? Why did he steal Levi's ribbon? Where is his shirt? Stay tuned to NEVER FIND OUT. |
Continues! Laurae Dubois. Boink. Leonidas' distant cousin, Laurae, who is a painted wolf, one of my most favouritest animals. I think I managed the colour-job fairly well...for me. Like always with art-noveau styling, the hair was a pleasure, and the only part of this I'm even part-way pleased with. The one thing that may not have been my fault was the nasty(er), blurry(er) scan. Nightnight! *Runs away* |
Levi sits onna ROOVE. Experimenting with combination technical pen/chinese ink inking. Still got a lot of brushing up to do. Hawhawhaw. Cloured sketchy version with markers, for fun. |
Autumn just...stands. What it says. Going for a slightly more representational style of drawing here. Prismaclours over single-thickness inks. |
Usul is a fish-boy. This is a oogly sketch of him. Ba-dum. |
Usul is STILL a fish-boy. This is a different sketch of him. As pointed out earlier, his spear is the best spear ever in the entire world since the beginning of time. Fin. |
More lady anatomy practice. **Warning: Gratuitous cigarette-smoking naked fox-lady** |
For a long time, I forgot about how much fun pencil can be all by itself. Weirdly enough, it was some of the delicious painting of Allison Reed that reminded me, and specifically her hyena rough, which clearly 'inspired' this one...heh...but here it is, random cat-person, trying to get back into that messy goodness. Kudos also if you can guess what rilly famous sculpture this is also ripped from. **Warning: Special boy-parts visible, if not in an 'OMG t3|-| 53x0r' kind of way.** |
NoShirtOn. The Kirin has no shirt on. His trousers are nice, though. If I decide to keep him around, he might be Usul's beau. Wouldn't that be nice? And now...part two! In fact...part THREE. Another day, another semi-naked Asian mythological creature. Now THAT'S artistic progress.
|
Old Gods. Xipe Totec, the Flayed God of the Aztecs.
Maha Kali, the Hindu goddess-aspect of destruction and rebirth.
Horus, Egyptian god of the rising sun.
Cernunnous, the ancient celtic god of nature and decay, the hunter and the hunted. All with prismaclour markers over usual inks. |
Development sketches for 'TeePeearrpee'. Various bits and pieces for another role-play project. Jinbei Amtausuun, character development sheet 1. Inks, with clouring from random tinythin markers.
character development sheet 2. I hate it, but I'm too lazy to do it over. Plain inks.
'The dance', sketch of Jinbei in mid-fight posture: 'Hummingbird spreads Eagle's Wing'. Mechanical pencil.
'The Dark', waterclour sketch of Jinbei.
Ship development sheet 1. The 'Adze Honmu Verksprikt', a smuggling vessel. Plain inks.
Character development sheet 3. Ugly, ugly prelims for crew members of the 'Adze Honmu Verksprikt'. Plain inks. |
FUN. Guess what? I found a biro on the floor! Let the scarifying begin. |
FU_CK. Just a sheet filled with scribbles, because my knees were hurting and I didn't have any painkillers. X__x **Warning: profanity.** |
Pirate Push. Proposed gift for Push, who can be found somewhere hereabouts. I have no clue why. I just...wanted to? Done in gouache over technical pen, and woodgrain obsession. MONKEYPARROT. Associated fun doodles live hereabouts (and in case you hadn't guessed, Push Tybro is indeed the intellectual and copyrighted property of herself, you thieving little rascals). |
//Jump//Fleiy//does//fanart// AHAHAHA. Plan for a random fan-art for t3|-| Fleiy, who I have never met or talked to or anything.... I just think the character (which belongs to herself, duh) is neat. Also she draws like a...drawing creature of some kind. That is good at drawing. Here lives the inks, and HERE the clours, made with gouache. FIN. *floats off* |
...Levi and that boy, sitting in a tree-ee... THEY ARE JUST GOOD FRIENDS. For a Fleiy again, kinda, but for me too. Because I wanted to see if I could, and 'Boy' is just such a neat character.Look! a potential background style of thing, filched straight from Fleiy's original pitchoor. The pink one. |
Gropeopeope. I draw so many stuff for Fleiy. And you CANNOT STOP ME. Clourtest for same, with oil pastels. Also, a funny little thing. |
BlablahFleiyblahblah. Hah. Fleiy go 'grr'. Blech. Also, a background test pretty much BECAUSE I CAN. Questions? |
Fleiybot. Uh...because it had to be done? Also, have a bonus crab-bot. |
Rhasuus.
Random throwaway character, but I like his poncho-thing. Prismaclours, technical pens, and an abiding hatred of stupid, stupid Anakin Skywalker. |
Meanwhile... Tern vogues a little, to show of his kanji-scars. Him a szeckzy biotch, 'yo. Yeah. |
A picture with actual clour OMG!!11. A rough water-clour of Levi. I like Levi. He has horns. |
