Sportsman’s Club


This benevolent organization has been around for over sixty years. One of the goals of the club is the preservation of the area’s wildlife. Each year birdhouses are put up for wood ducks and bluebirds to encourage nesting. Pheasant and Turkey organizations receive annual support.

Safe use of firearms is another important focus. A certified gun safety training course is offered every year.

Youth continue to be a center of attention. They are recognized as the community’s future and are the recipients of funds for many worthy projects. The local 4-H club uses the building for meetings on the first Sunday of each month.

Through the selling of pull tabs at Bob’s Place in Sedan, the Terrace Sportsman’s Club gives a large amount of money back to the community. Donations are given to various local organizations, individuals and community activities.

A Holiday Bingo Night is held every year in November. Funds from this evening of fun go to the food shelves in Pope and Swift Counties.

Regular business meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month. You are more than welcome to join in.
