The Miller's House:
Guest House

This stone house is in the National Registry of Historic Sites as well as the Minnesota State Registry. It is located in a tranquil setting on the shore of the Chippewa River with beautiful views of the mill, mill pond and a waterfall.

It was built just after the turn of the century when Terrace was the center for the grinding of flour. The stone in the house and fireplace was collected from around the United States during the miller’s travels.

This guest cottage features two bedrooms: one with double bed and the other with twin beds. There is also a single convertible couch in the library. All bedrooms overlook the waterfall. The falls whisper a lullaby to croon you to sleep.

There is also a full working kitchen that overlooks the historic Terrace Mill or you can walk up the street to the Terrace Store Company for lunch or dinner. There is one newly restored bathroom with both a shower and tub. The cozy, comfortable parlor has a working fireplace. All rooms are on one floor.
