Thanks for visiting the official website of Terra Firma. We are a six piece reggae band based in Carbondale Illinois, home of Southern Illinois University.
The band consists of;

Joe Alcorn - Keyboard, Steel Drum, Vocals
Dan Truitt - Trumpet, Vocals
Todd Adams - Trombone, Vocals
Curt Eikelberg- Bass Guitar, Vocals
Chad S. - Percussion
We have been described as a roots reggae band with a ska influence, due to our incorporation of the many eclectic tastes of a six member band from all walks of life. We found each other during our transitions in Carbondale and shared our love for the art of reggae music. Influences ranging from Bob Marley to The Specials have been compiled to form the dynamic sounds of Terra Firma.
We have a large, loyal local following and growing audience throughout the local midwest.
