I'm the old family car.
I may not be in the greatest shape
but not many are.
I've made a lot of memories
in this life of mine
I may get a tune up now and then
to keep me up in time.
I lag behind the others
in class and in style
but my value is sentimental
and will last for a while.
I've taken scratches
and dents galore
but I always get fixed,
more and more.
My engine may start to fail sometimes
but I push myself and keep going.
I'm very reliable that way
It's not me you'll be throwing away.
I may not be the lovliest thing
you've ever seen
but looking under the hood
you'll see
why I'm so special.
