Deianera grew up on a good vinyard, her parents wealthy merchants in Capere. They wanted her to be a "proper" lady for all their friends. Deianera didn't. She wanted to be a warrior. She practiced everyday using many different weapons, her older brother usually out on patrol, her sister being the "proper lady" her parents wanted, learning of healing and herbs, to help their brothers wounds. When Deianera was thirteen, she found out her parents had arranged a marriage for her, and the only way out of it was to be dead. Of course the girl knew of the Grid Iron, and that if she were to kill anyone, that was where she would go. She sthought it the best opportunity.
And so Deianera stopped going by that name when she first killed a family on a small farm not too far away from the Andoran vinyard. One body was what she carried back. A girl. Her brother out on patrol knew nothing of what happened, but Rianna was frightened by her sister. Mystery killed her own parents, stole most of the valuables, and burned the house. She also stole away her sister. Rianna was so scared that she never spoke again. The ten year old was deposited at a healers nearby the Grid Iron, and never spoke again, let alone about her sister actually being alive, or that Deianera Andoran was Mystery of the Grid Iron.
Her brother, Drakan, visits Rianna when he is off duty, but the girl never spoke, and the man never knew what happened at the vinyard. He had arrested "Mystery" several times, never realizing she was his sister. Whenever he saw her at the healer hut, he glared at her. Drakan hated how the murderer scared his sister, and had heard that the woman had started her "career" with the murder of his parents. He thought that if she had done that deed, she spared his sister only to heal her wounds from the Grid Iron. He never knew the truth, and that was the way Mystery wanted it.
When Capacitator Grentzen hired her to get a scale of this main dragon guy (Mystery doesn't care either way) her life began on a new course. The Grid Iron remained prevalent, but she no longer needed to kill anyone to get in (though... old habits DO die hard.) Drakan wanted to research Grent's new employee and learned that Mystery was the sister he thought dead. Mystery now works for Grent when he wishes someone with her bluntness and battle prowess. She is disappointed that their battle couldn't be and looks forward to a match.
Mystery slowly starts to fall in love with Grent, and she realizes she follows his orders for mor than just the opportunity to fight. Little does she know that he loves her back.

This character is from a world called Xenodelphia, while the previous character is from Mythus. The Mythus RPG died for me, so I resurrected the characters for Xenodelphia and Rianna became the more imprtand of the two.
Story: Like in the other world, Mystery killed their parents and took off with Rianna to start a new life. But in this world, they weren't given a choice about the colliseum.
They were finally "set free" when Emperor Boris of Xodia assaulted the Colliseum and gave the Gladiators the choice to join him or die. Rianna had felt Kijo's presence all that time and Kijo was in Xodia when the attack happen so Rianna silently convinced Mystery to go with them. The secret is that Boris, Kaji, and Kijo were all of a race called "Xodians" nearly extinct. Boris knew of Rianna's abilities and her sister's Gladiatorial Fame and wanted their help as he reclaimed his empire from a treacherous priest. He even lures Kijo into this web, who'd done her best to stay away from Rianna because together anyone sensitive could sense their power. But the time for hiding is through, and the fight is going to start.
