My name is Terry (Tbone)and twenty years ago Leslie (Froggy) and I met and combined our families and started more. We have seven sons and along the way, adopted two daughters. Also included in the crew are five daughter-in-laws and six grandchildren and two on their way. One is due in August and the other in December.
We all live in Missouri, most of the crew in Independence, and my household crew in Maysville, a small town about 65 miles north of Independence. We are in striking distance of several of the smaller lakes in northern Missouri such as Smithville and Pony Express and about three hours away from the great Truman Resovoir and Lake of the Ozarks. Branson and table rock are closer to six hours away.
When you talk Missouri, you're talking a sportsmans paradise. The game is plentiful, and Bull Shoals is noted as one of the top bass lakes in the country. The scenery is second to none and a boatride or drive in the Ozarks shows nature in all it's splendor.
The boys and I are avid fishermen and hunters.
Froggy and the girls love to camp and fish and all the activities at the lake.
We enjoy the times in the outdoors together and with our families. Most of the boys and grandkids were infants for their first camping trip, we decided to break them in early.....smiles....
This site will strive to bring you our great Missouri Outdoors, hitting on camping, fishing, hunting, scenery and camp cooking. There will be two ways to navigate:
(1) A pulldown menu and it will be broken down in subdivisions and
(2) a site index for those of you that don't like using the pulldowns.
