The Zodiac Knight


The Zodiac Knights are those selectively chosen by the Zodiac to do its will. They are unlike many of the other beings born, in that they often know not their exact sign (although they may think they do...). Instead, when the Zodiac selects one, it is always one born during Serpentarius, the Serpent Bearer. As they are unknown in the world, they are exceptionally powerful, to balance the masses in the other signs.


They have long histories. Sometimes, they fight demons. Other times, they fight angels. Sometimes, they cause mischief and darkness... but nobody knows exactly what happens. It is, ultimately, up to the whim of the Zodiac Knight.

Requirements

Skills: 8 ranks Astrology


Alignment: Any extreme alignment (non-neutral)


Special: Must be at least 5th level


Class Skills- As Barbarians, include all Fighter and Cleric class skills, and Knowledge Astrology.


Skill Points: 4+Int mod per level


Base attack Bonus: As Fighter


Saves: High Ref, Will, Fort


Armor and Weapon Proficiencies: Light and medium armor, simple and martial weapons.

Transcend the Zodiac (ex): The Zodiac Knight is not considered to be of any one Zodiac Sign. He is all and none at the same time, and as such, any spells that will determine either Alignment or Zodiac Sign will fail utterly when cast. The spell simply ceases to be the moment it attempts to scan them.


Aries' Courage (su): The Zodiac Knight gains a +6 bonus to saves against fear.


Taurus' Determination (ex): The Zodiac Knight gains a +4 bonus to saves against the Enchantment school of spells.


Gemini's Cunning (sp): Twice per day, the Zodiac Knight may cast Mirror Image as though he were a sorceror of his character level. Do not count arcane spell failure chance.


Cancer's Durability (ex): The Zodiac Knight gains DR 2/-.


Leo's Leadership (ex): The Zodiac Knight gains leadership as a bonus feat. Their allies within 10 feet gain their resistance to fear.


Virgo's Purity (ex): The Zodiac Knight recieves a +4 to saves against poisons, and to all will saves that might result in an alignment change.


Libra's Balance (ex): The Zodiac Knight automatically stabilizes if reduced to less than 10 HP, and gains a +4 bonus to Balance checks.


Scorpio's Intensity (su): The Zodiac Knight gains a gaze attack. Anyone who looks into his eyes, if he so chooses, must make a will save (DC = Zodiac Knight level +10 + charisma modifier) or be Shaken.


Sagitarrius' Energy (ex): The Zodiac Knight only requires two hours of sleep, and one tenth the normal amount of food.


Capricorn's Planning (su): The Zodiac Knight is able to, three times a day, determine whether a given action will, in the next ten minutes, prove to be fruitful or not.


Aquarius' Burden (sp): The Zodiac Knight is able to create water at will. Treat this as a Decanter of Endless Water, except there is no limit, and the water pours from his hands.


Pisces' Freedom (su): The Zodiac Knight gains the permanant benefits of the Freedom of Motion spell. This also allows them to breathe underwater, and they do not suffer penalties due to Armor Checks.
