historic place in the world....

ridge a couple feet high on their outmost edge,
which looks out onto the sea, as it is a cliff of
about 20 feet.

circle around them, though it does not rise
above ground level, and there is a large arch
over the "front" end of them.

surface is a sort of tiled or paved rock, and
there are 12 stone pillars arranged in a pattern
around a central spire.
SirAlextheFirst: (Karnage got 3/4 of his HP
knocked off by a dead man, then finished by
the fighters, yeh)
SirAlextheFirst: (He was kinda sad for a deity)

notable, and only really unusual, thing about
the ruins - it is made of ice.
SirAlextheFirst: Pure black ice, which is quite
cold, but never melts in any way.

most of the PC's were passing out)
Adm H Sopko: ::Wanders over to a particular
spot in the ruins, checking for a sort of stain or

SirAlextheFirst: By the stories, it is all that
remains of a once-mighty palace that reached
to the very top of the world.

Chromeus18: "This is where.....the great
battle...."
SirAlextheFirst: The stone pillars are brown,
the same shade and type of rock as the floor,
and vary in height from 4 feet tall to 20 feet
tall.
AndrewRogue: "Where Karnage fell to
the Warriors of Hope..."
SirAlextheFirst: They are all roughly 3 feet in
diameter, and ornately carved in fluid curves
with no discernable pattern.
MysteryGiIgamesh: *he simply overlooks
the ruins with a mild distaste*
SirAlextheFirst: The top of each pillar has an
indentation in it, as if a sphere were to rest
there, and the surface inside this indentation is
sheer black and mirrored.
Chromeus18: "Where Sir Throkk battled...."
SirAlextheFirst: Much like obsidian.
SirAlextheFirst: The pillars are arranged in
such a way that once each year, on the
anniversary of the battle (so they say), the
dawn's light falls upon the mirrored sections
and reflects into the spire of ice, causing
fantastic visual effects.
SirAlextheFirst: That is all.
MysteryGiIgamesh: "It does make
one.........Wonder at times, oh.....Son's of

SirAlextheFirst: Wait, not quite.
SirAlextheFirst: Forgot to mention that the
ground within the site is impeccable. There
are no stains, cracks, or signs of wear.
Hunter does not find the stain he is looking
for.

maintained.

came down to luck because they made like
two mistakes.

"resources", they don't mean money.
MysteryGiIgamesh: Well, they sorta do
mean some money, but meh.

spells i had before the fight, but i had
about 3 left + 5 lvl 0's afterward
MysteryGiIgamesh: They mean HP, spells,
item's used, etc.
Adm H Sopko: Our mistakes were?
SirAlextheFirst: You had a major magic item
which just went completely unused.
Adm H Sopko: Opening the door, and stepping
out?

using a bow?

mintoaur has everyone beat.
Adm H Sopko: The bow wouldn't have made
the fight any easier, I don't think
SirAlextheFirst: And you wasted a couple
rounds trying to hide by the wall or keep
distance from it.
MysteryGiIgamesh: Crazy SoB has +11
Str mod.
OriDrKultra: and he has what for an ECL?!
Adm H Sopko: I felt like Ryu in the opening of
BoFIV doing that...

cleric :P

her gun at him and he's running along the wall?
Chromeus18: i can keep other people's
asses covered, and slap a few licks on
when necessary...
MysteryGiIgamesh: +1 ECL. He's half orc,
which was another +2 to Str, since half
mino is a template...
MysteryGiIgamesh: And then he had an 18
Base str, I believe.
Adm H Sopko: You have to admit, the door as
cover was genius
SirAlextheFirst: It was.
MysteryGiIgamesh: He also got a slight
boost since he's large size.
MysteryGiIgamesh: So he's waving
around a 32 or so Str.

multiplies
Adm H Sopko: I still don't see a bow making a
difference with how fast it moved and it's
breath range
MysteryGiIgamesh: Sad part is....I think I
have enough HP to duke it out with him
for a few rounds.
OriDrKultra: 32 is 11 mod, so is either that or
he got a odd racial
OriDrKultra: And even if I rage, I will probably
be dead in a sec or two
